There was something nostalgic in returning back to Ebony. It was the place where her earliest memories stirred, where she felt that everything good came to be. She had missed this place, her teachers, and all she had learned. She had missed the life of a pack, though leaving had not been her choice. She would breathe in, knowing Anais was somewhere close with Lebrah. yet all the gray girl could seem to focus on was what was in front of her. She would blink upon her bright blue eyes, a gentle smiling playing on her lips. She had missed this place so very much. She could already smell the waters of the lake, hear the birdsong ringing throughout the air. She was home.

Nearing the boarder she come to a stop. Her heart would beat in her chest, hoping that Ebony would welcome them home. If they did not, well, Lior wasn't quite sure what she would do. Head would tilt back, a howl requesting the alpha to come. Would it be Raisa? Katja? One of Raisa's children? Who would it be that came to see the former members of Ebony, and would they welcome them back? Lior truly, truly hoped that they would. She did not want to waste another day with danger lurking around the corner.

Walk | Talk | Think

The excitement from her sister was almost palpable and infectious. Anais found herself smiling and wagging her tail about optimistically, even feeling rather eager for their reunion with the wolves of Ebony. Despite her positive thoughts, there was still a worry due to the circumstances regarding her family's departure from the pack. She knew it had not been received well, and she knew that her and her sister could still be held accountable for it, but she hoped beyond hope that it would not hold them back. Lior needed this training, needed to finish what she had started, and here was where they felt most comfortable to begin on that path again.

The grey-gold girl only hoped that the good mood was extending even over to Lebrah. She had had her worries about relocating him to this new place. They had all settled so well into the Fjord that to uproot him seemed almost cruel. But it was also a grand adventure for the lot of them, and she knew how much he loved adventure. She just hoped their destination, and those who awaited them at the end of it, would suit him and not bring about further remarks of dislike and prejudice like those her large blue friend had pulled out of him.

She let Lior take the lead through it all, sticking back with Lebrah and allowing him the space he needed for his silly childish antics and hoping that his high energy would not infect her sister with unnecessary nerves. But as they stopped on the border of the pack lands and Lior called out a howl, Anais joined her voice with her sister's. Whether or not they were recognized by those within, they were still returning as a unit, and she wanted that to be clear not only to the wolves of Ebony, but to her sister as well. She was there to back her up, one hundred percent.

It was Nako's greatest wish for his sisters to be safe. Ebony, while him and his brothers hadn't been the greatest students when lessons were called, hoped to prove to be a place where Anais and Lior could dwell in safety. He however, and his three brothers, would remain on the outside away from the pack. Nako felt the feathers twist in his fur and he closed his eyes. Bane. Tahlia. Their mother and father who had passed on now slumbered next to each other for eternity as their bones returned to the earth. Even as Lior and Anais called to the packs alpha Nako looked at Espirit again. Despite Anais taking care of him as best she could Nako felt that the last remnant of their parents had turned out ok. Eyes going over Jakart and Kailos to round out the group. And Lebrah. The trip north hadn't been so bad. He hoped that Anais and Lior would be accepted. That they could flourish in a place once so dear to their hearts despite Bane leading them all away to soon.

He trailed slowly behind the group, his ears drooping as his tail bounced between his hind limbs. He didn't want to leave their home, it was the only place that he had come to know and love. It had been his home since he could remember! But, if he stayed, he would be all alone. He didn't wanna leave his momma and Aunty Lior, they were his family and he loved them very much. His low hanging head peeked up, yellow eyes glancing at the gap between him and the group. His heart was torn, he really, really didn't want to go. Letting out a low whine, he trotted up to Anais' left side, his teeth nipping at her rump. "Momma Anais, I don't wanna go. Do we have to?" he asked with another soft whine, yellow marked eyes glancing back down at the earth. His usual energetic self was drained, washed away with the sorrow of leaving the only home he knew. This was stupid... Lior could stare at herbs then! That's how she learned, right? Just staring at them and then BAM knew everything? Seemed like that to him.
