Locha stared down at the water. Wind battered her sides and her paws dropped lazily into the sea, making ripples in the waves. She loved the water, it was obvious. The girl was casually lying on top of a rocky crag in deep water without a worry. But it wasn't that way for everyone. She knew well how fast the temperament of the sea could change. It could snap at any minute. It's torrents could be relentless, merciless. Even a wolf who was casually going for a swim could be swept away before they could cry for help. Now that winter was on its way, Locha was getting more worried. There was only do much she could do. It's not like she or her siblings could control their elements, they were only graced with a connection to them. Storms could arise. Next to the sea they could be disastrous. If there was an earthquake, perhaps even a tsunami.

She shook her head. Thoughts like that would get her nowhere. Her head drooping a little, she rested it on her paws, watching the swirling water below. Her siblings needed to be prepared. But if she did manage to get them prepared, would it just make them afraid of the water? Shaking her head she sighed, trying to puzzle it out.

Voltage was trying his hardest to get into the "alpha" mode that he needed to be in, but the big child would rather play. He really hated boring political things, well, sometimes. He really enjoyed creating the pack, designing it to suite his entire family, but he almost disliked what came after that. But, with his family, nothing was ever truley boring. They could always get the most important things accomplished by play. Who cares if they laughed and had fun during training drills, all that mattered was that his family, as a whole, was getting stronger and more organised. So he was making his rounds, despite how heavily distracted he was. A part of his mind always seemed to stay on Gaia, and how her life was fairing...and how desperately he missed her. With a shake of his head he moved his way along the beach, intent on finding his fish of a sister.

With a gentle grin he spotted her basking in the water, as he knew he would. It was like Astrea with the stars, there was nothing anyone could do to take her from her element. With careful pawsteps he tried to sneak up on her, coming from an angle that would be hard to see if she didn't turn her head. With about ten feet between them he'd bow down just slightly before bounding towards her, leaping into the waves of the water to splash her with the coolness of the ocean. With a laugh, he'd turn to her, his boyish grin on his face. "Fancy running into you here, my water goddess." He said, teasing and grinning all the while as he moved to lay down in the shallowness of the water, feeling the waves lap against his belly. "How's the ocean today?"

If you happened to be an Elementas and at home, you probably weren't going to be alone for long. It was barely two minutes before her big brother came bounding towards her, sending ripples through the water and splashing her in the process. Fish swam away in a frenzy to get away from the spark. Locha's . tired frown split into a grin as her brother came to a stop.
"Fancy running into you here, my water goddess." He said. Locha giggled at the sarcasm. There was something different about her brother today. She couldn't quite place it. It was as if he were somewhere else... She eyed him subtly as he lay in the water beside her, their heights levelled now that she had a rock to aid her.
"The ocean's fine, although the tide's a bit strong further out." She said in reply to Mr. Yellow's enquiry. "How are you? Anything happened in your life recently?" Her eyes glinted slightly and she had a slight smirk on her face.

Voltage grinned so brightly as he laid in the water, listening to her melodious giggle. Locha always managed to sound like a bubbling spring, he wondered how she managed it. Lifting his paws he's splash in the water, looking through the water at the rocks below before he heard her voice. Quickly he'd look up at her, the brightest of smiles upon his face as he shifted to curl closer to her, to better speak with his lovely ocean sister. When she spoke of the tide he'd nod. "Noted!" He said with a grin, not telling her of the time he managed to get washed away with the tide and landed on an island farther out. No, he wouldn't tell many that story, especially not their personal lifeguard. He was sure, with worry, she'd probably have him doing private lessons or something. Maybe, he wasn't sure. When she commented on his happiness he couldn't help but chuckle. "Perceptive, Miss Fish." He said with a chuckle. "I met the most beautiful woman, Locha. She is so sweet." He knew, now that he had gotten over his initial shock at the strong emotion, that he was absolutely head over heels for her. "So! How are you liking your position? Have you tried teaching Sere how to swim yet?" He asked with a chuckle. One of the main reasons he was here was to ensure she was settling in with her job, and seeing if she needed any help.

Locha's ears perked as her older brother spoke of meeting a woman. She had to bite back an ''Ooh la la~'', but her smile only grew, enough to ignore his Miss. Fish nickname. She could tell just by looking at him as he spoke about her, whoever she was that he cared about her. She stretched over the little gap between them to nudge his shoulder lightly.

"So! How are you liking your position? Have you tried teaching Sere how to swim yet?" he asked. To be honest, Locha wasn't sure how much she was supposed to do. She knew most of her siblings knew how to swim, with a fiery exception, to a certain degree. Herself and her element didn't have much to do.
"I guess it's going fine, and no. I don't know if either of us would survive that encounter. " she paused. ''What am I actually supposed to do Volty? What should an Aqaelus do?''

Volty boy would grin brightly as she nudged him, but he didn't elaborate. Not yet. He'd wait untill after his date with Gaia, hoping that something more would come from their interaction before he starting gushing so much about her. Sure, Glacier and Serefina knew, but he didn't want to set this all up for failure. He didn't want to go through heartache, so he'd wait and try not to think too much about it untill something more came out of it. (But oh, he couldn't possibly lie. Voltage was already hook line and sinker. But, he quickly shook himself from that thought process and he lifted his gaze back up to Locha. She spoke, wondering what an Aqaelus does. And he grinned brightly, stretching out in the water untill he could lay his head upon her rock. "You, my lovely fish, must know how dangerous the ocean can be." He said with a gentle smile, looking up at her. "When we thought up the rank for you, we hoped you and Serefina would get together, and ensure this border was as safe as the land border. We wouldn't want a surprise attack along the ocean." He said softly, looking up at her. "But I would rather you focus on knowing the ocean. Knowing when the tides get high, and knowing when it is dangerous to swim. Know when the fish are the best, and what to do when there isn't any. Our family depends on the food the ocean gives us, as well as the beach and dens to sleep in...We need to know what to do if this place should ever flood." He said softly but then he grinned brightly, lifting his head again. "But aside from all that seriousness, you are expected to throw the best beach parties for us and our friends!" He said with the brightest of playful grins, nearly all his teeth showing as it spread across his face.

The girl smiled when her big brother rested his head upon her rock and looked at her. She listened as he spoke of what she should do. At the mention of a possible surprise attack the girls ears lowered a little and she nervously glanced to the cove edges. It was true it would be and ideal place to come from, high ground, easy cover. Her blue eyes focused back on Volty as he continued to speak.

"But I would rather you focus on knowing the ocean. Knowing when the tides get high, and knowing when it is dangerous to swim. Know when the fish are the best, and what to do when there isn't any." he said. Locha nodded. She hadn't realized how deeply the ocean affected their family, in good ways and bad. Although the ocean couldn't be used as drinking water, it was used for food and vegetation alike. The dark-coloured girl was so lost in thought that when her brother suddenly erupted into a blinding smile she jumped a little, sending her lower half sliding into the water. She giggled, nodding here head.
"Definitely beach parties! We could have one before winter sets in!" She said after a little thought, already imagining it in her head. With a mischievous glint in her eye, Locha raised her paw and brought it down, splashing Volty tremendously.

Voltage would continue to smile, ready to comfort her worries as she looked along the ocean after he mentioned the sea border. But she seemed to shrug it off quickly, and he was proud. Sure, it was a dangerous world out there, but they were safe in their land, they just had to remain vigilant to keep it safe. With a gentle grin he'd relax more into the water. His sister seemed to nearly brighten at the beach parties and he let out a loud, resonant laugh, his eyes nearly half lidded in delight. "Well! We will have to get on that! I can feel the winter settling in already." He said with a bright smile. It was true that the temperature did dip quiet a lot recently, especially at night. If they were to have one last big batch before his more...warm loving siblings took to near hybernation they would have to do it soon. But he was very quickly pulled from his thoughts as water splashed over his face quite suddenly. He started, sitting up quickly and looking at her with wide stormy eyes before he grinned brightly. "Oh no you dont!" He said with a playful growl, leaping up so his right forepaw brace him against her rock and his other quickly reached to wrap around her, to tug her into the ocean. He was strong and had some leverage on her, but he wouldn't doubt if she could squirm away....you know, like a fish!

Locha's splash didn't go unpunished. Before she had a chance to run, Volty had a hold of the girl and he dragged her into the water with him. Her black fur which had just started to dry a little, something it hardly did, by the way, was now submerged again. With a grin, the girl did indeed wriggle, enough to get free from his iron grip.
It put her at ease, being in the ocean, with all it's mysteries and life. It was a living, breathing thing. A life force, and so were the creatures that lived in it. Some of them were incredibly delicious. With a swipe of her paw, Locha would catch a silver scaled fish up and out of the water, hopefully landing on her previous perch.
"Of course, there will be plenty of food at this party. Fill our bellies before the fun!" she said with a wink. She was getting more and more excited about this festival.

The older elementas chuckled as he plunked her into the ocean, right where she belonged. Her love for the water, and her optimism was rather infectious. Before she squirmed away he planted a big kiss upon her skull, laughing openly as she flopped away from him. They all seemed to embody their elements, but she seemed rather akin to the things that lived in hers. He wondered what it would be like if her chosen element was air instead...would she flutter around like a bird? Shaking his head at his thoughts he turned back to her, listening to her voice as she planned out the party. Food! Yes, food was great. Fantastic. He would grin brightly, lifting himself to his full height, the ocean water flooding off his fur loudly. Since moving to the beach his pelt had thinned, but he was still rather fluffy, almost like his fur was constantly on end with static.

With a bright smile he'd nod his head approvingly, chuckling as she caught a fish. Her movements were like no other, as if she could sense the fish in the water rather than see it. He had never seen anyone fish quite like her, and he was happy for that. Without her, he was sure they would have a hard time keeping full. The ocean provided their staple diet, due to the fact that they had to travel to find any other food...and quite far. With Secretua bordering them it made it hard to hunt. They were lucky to have the ocean at their finger tips. "I'm sure that will be no trouble for you. Me on the other hand..." He said with a bright grin. If he dared tried to fish, he was positive he would fail terribly. "I'm thinking of extending the invite to the other packs, to include them in Dono's fare-well to fall party." He said with a chuckle. He had met many many alphas, and he wanted to invite them so that they could see how well they could all get along. Only when he was positive his family would be friends with another pack that he would extend an alliance, but untill then he would remain only on friendly terms.

Wiping the kiss from her brother off playfully, Locha dealt with the fish. She did prefer this diet, but you had to be careful how much you fished and what fish you caught. Autumn was actually one of the best times for sea-hunting. The summer fish still remained, too lazy to go, and the early winter fish were too eager to get here! It made for ample pickings indeed. There would be no need to hold back.
The girl tutted at her brothers comment. "Anyone can fish Volty. It's easy enough when you get the hang of it!" she said, nudging his shoulder playfully. It took only a little skill to be a decent fisher-wolf at the least.
"I'm thinking of extending the invite to the other packs, to include them in Dono's fare-well to fall party." Locha smiled at that, almost bouncing from the water. It had to be said that Locha really didn't see much other people. She wasn't shy or anything, more like forgotten to...
"That sounds cool! It'll mean more mouths to feed, although that's not a problem this time of year... she said, head lowering in thought. But as the girl realized she was beginning to ramble she looked up with a cheeky grin. "Be sure to invite this girlfriend of yours.
