She'd find herself sighing heavily as Voltage disappeared back the way they'd come to return to his awaiting family. Already her side felt a bit colder, but she'd do her best to keep the sad thoughts at bay. Freewing sang on her shoulder, the cheery tune enough to keep her spirits uplifted. She really needed to keep the company of one of her siblings though. With a slow gait Gaia's dark paws would carry her closer to the lake, the scent of water enough to keep Volt's memory quite fresh in her mind.

She'd been walking most of the day, as her toes felt the cool water the girl would let herself relax on the shore. She could feel the fatigue of the day catching up with her. She wasn't ready to sleep, but her body felt worn out. Emotionally she was just as drained. She'd feel herself sigh again, putting her head on her paws. After the encounter she'd had with Voltage for the first time in a long time she thought she might have received the god's favor. The thought brought about another ray of hope, hopefully it would be enough to see her through to seeing Voltage again.

Andromeda had fallen back into calling Ebony home with ease. Though they had won, their had been an eerie quiet left behind after the siege rather than brought them together as a tighter unit. That she could cope with as the pack settled back into life, recovered from whatever wounds they'd acquired, simply enjoyed peace. What truly troubled the Olympus girl however was the absence of her sister. Gaia had been terribly troubled as of late and even more recently had not even been in the pack lands at all. Try as she might she'd been unable to find any sign of her sister or even the bright feathers of her little companion.

That apparently would all change that evening. Andromeda almost doubted her nose when she caught the scent of Gaia though out of sheer hope she followed it, longing not to be dreaming or being tricked by stale scents. Luck on her side however it seemed she could finally put her worries at ease. There ahead of her was the silvery form of her sister, and it seemed she was unharmed. She breathed a sigh of relief but wouldn't let sight alone be enough. She wanted to speak to her, spend some time with her sister.

"Gaia." She called out, announcing her presence as she continued towards her sister, not stopping now until she had reached her side. "Are you ok?" She may have looked it, but Andi still had to ask. She wasn't going to beat around the bush

She'd only been gone for two days, preferring to spend her time curled up and secluded than wandering the territory before hand it was no wonder that Andi hadn't seen her in so long. Her heart was broken, Solo was gone and now she missed Voltage more than she should have. She felt like a mess. She was incredibly distracted, she hadn't been paying much attention to her surroundings. So when her sister's voice would have never startled her before this time it did. Her features would bolt up as her unseeing eyes found where the sound of foot steps came from.

Perked ears would listen until the other woman stopped at her side, obviously concerned by the sound of her voice. Gaia would look away, her ears falling back down to her skull. "Well enough," her answer would come. did her sister realize the disappearance of her betrothed? "How are you, Andi?" She'd ask back as she was able to turn her features back to her litter mate.

ooc: Would Andi know about Solo? Honestly I've no idea if the rest of the siblings have realised or not so sort of left it open.

With the siege over, Sigmarr and Sindri out of danger and the Olympus family finally all able to settle in one place they ought to have been happier. Gaia's life however had taken a bad turn, and rather than all bond together, it seemed that the siblings had all spaced out a little more for some reason. There was a quiet about their lives now, one that didn't seem to quite fit though Andi hadn't been able to place a paw on what wasn't quite right, so out of the loop with everything it seemed.

Gaia, normally so sharp with her senses was obviously off in some sort of dream world. Andromeda didn't think she'd seen her sister jump like that since they had been younger, certainly the golden sister found she had never managed to startle her quite so much for a long time anyway. "Are you sure?" She probed, wanting to be certain she wasn't missing anything big in her sister's life. "You seemed to be off in your own world just then and quite a lot lately."

She did feel as though she were farther from her siblings, but she hadn't felt entirely comfortable bringing up her woes to them. None of them had found love yet, they didn't know what it was she was going through. Even her uncle had been little help. Not that he would have talked to her of lost love anyway. He had hated Solo.

She was far too obviously distracted, and not completely in her right mind. Andromeda would pick up on that easily enough, though Gaia might have hoped otherwise. Could she share this with her sister? The other woman would not even answer her own question, keying in on Gaia's distress as she pressed the question. She'd break then, a soft cry leaving her as her sightless gaze sought the horizon. "No, I'm not okay." A heavy sigh would leave her as she slumped once more, finding her voice breaking. Would Andi prod her for answers?

No, Andromeda had never felt love in a romantic manner, had never given her heart to another and had never known the pain of that person suddenly vanishing without even a goodbye. She did understand the treacherous behaviour of abandonment however, the pain of knowing you were no longer cared about. All four of Virgil's children had suffered that fate, though they barely spoke of it, they had got through it together.

The same had happened with Solo, Andi didn't think she had mentioned him at all since he had gone the problem was Gaia had allowed herself to suffer alone this time. Her siblings may not have felt the pain she did from Solo's disappearance but they felt Gaia's pain, and Andi despised seeing her suffer in this manner. Whether they felt the loss or not, they were there for her sister.

She hadn't intended to break her in quite this manner, though the extra little prod would result only in tears. She wouldn't probe further, she assumed still everything was all down to Solo, although she could scent another upon her sister's fur had no idea that he had added further confusion to the whole mess. "It's alright. I'm here." She muttered softly, moving closer to her sister to offer a comforting embrace.
