This place, with the moon coming up over the water, was beautiful in it's own way. Although it was dark, the moonlight reflected off the water. Staring down into it, Silveris gave a soft sigh. The water that was probably blue during the day was dark at night, like the sky. She could see the small stars in the rippling water. Hesitantly, one white paw went into the water, quickly, and was pulled back out twice as fast. With cold weather coming, the water was cold as well. And with that, she may have to keep a close eye on her pups. Animals that didn't hibernate would be looking for a meal, and....

You need to stop worrying. You'll only stress yourself out. She stared down at the water, wishing she could stop worrying about her children so much.

The search was not going too well for the young slave boy, Squirrel had yet to run into any potential masters and it was starting to worry him. Would there be any Masters in these lands at all or would he be homeless and die by the claws of some scary beast? The small male continued to slink along the terrain, keeping his head low, ears up and eyes scanning his surroundings. This area was new to him, and so he would have to be careful unlike that one time he slipped and fell into a hole in the ground.

The place he found himself in this time around was very loud, mist flowing through the air from where falling water crashed into a waiting pool below. Curious little guy he was, Squirrel's pace quickened down the path he was moving along, large bronze eyes staring up at the falls rolling over their rocky edge. Just a few feet down the boy came to a sudden and complete stop once he noticed there was somebody else down there as well, a larger wolf.

When the scent of another made her raise her head, she saw a smaller wolf, stopped in its tracks; her ears flattened in worry, her mismatched gaze raising to meet his. The smaller male seemed as if something were bothering him, and the female got to her paws hesitantly. If he was injured, then the least she could do was bring him to a healer. She moved closer to him, hoping that this wouldn't scare him, or make him do anything sudden; she was just as nervous about another wolf as he was, although she had been seeing more lately. The brown and white female stopped as she got close enough, but she still took a moment to say anything.

"Uh......Hello?" Her voice was soft, and she kept her nerves under control. "Is something wrong?"

sorry for shortness, brain went poopy

The wolf moved towards him, and in reaction to this he moved away from the female. Large eyes followed her every move, each breath, every flick of an ear. No one was allowed to get near him except for his master, so he took a couple steps away from the wolf so she couldn't get near him. She said hello, his ears perking up at her soft voice, registering whether she was a threat or not. Was something wrong? Yes, of course, something was always wrong. Squirrel gave a slow nod of his head to her question, tail tucking between his legs as he motioned slowly with his snout towards her. You, you are where I want to explore. Head pulled back after the motion, small paws side stepping to bring the boy in a small arch around the girl in an attempt to try and get around her.

The other wolf motioned with his snort towards her, and Silveris tilted her head a little. Maybe the male was like Ion, preferring to stay silent rather than speak to anyone. When he tried to walk past her, she allowed him, but curiosity soon got the better of her as she followed behind him, wondering what he had been trying to say. Honestly, he had never really answered her question; well, not in a way that she knew of. "Are you like Ion?" She muttered this under her breath, and stopped in her tracks. The male didn't seem to want to harm her, but for all she knew, any sudden movement could make him attack her. Head tilted again in an attempt to figure out what the smaller male was trying to say. There had been no recent scents to show that he had been here, or even lived here. "You're exploring, too, aren't you?"

Squirrel made sure to keep his large bronze eyes locked on the female wolf as he moved, each step, not wanting to miss a single move that may potentially cause him any form of danger. Thankfully she allowed him to move by but it seemed that as soon as he got past her the wolf was following right behind. Why was she following? Did she want something from him? The boy quickly whipped his entire body around now, paws moving surprisingly fast it would seem. He wouldn't allow her to get the best of him, slowly taking a few steps back and to the side towards the calmer end of the pool of water. The young wolf wanted to continue his exploration but would keep most of his attention of the woman.

With ears perked forward the boy wouldn't catch what the girl said to herself, not that he really cared to hear. He did hear when she asked if he was exploring though, his eyes narrowing slightly. A thought would cross his mind then, one that brought a new wave of concern, wondering how she knew that. Was she a mind reader? He had to worry about mind readers now?! Squirrel, wanting to confirm this, quickly closed his eyes and started to think of something else, trying to come up with different things to confuse the wolf. Food, a big yummy deer. Bunny, small and plump. Vole, tiny and stringy. Finally after a few moments of just standing there with his head head low and eyes closed he reopened them, an expression crossing his features like that of 'ha, now read my mind girl!' in satisfaction.
