ooc: Antonio isn't here to join, he's basically a loner ambassador and wants to get to know the different alpha's so here he is :,D. Firefly lake was a bit of a scary place, it reminded him much of the black kingdom. However, he wouldn't let it bother him as he lingered on the borders being very aware of where the scent marker was. He was respectful, this was their home not his and he was here to talk about who he was and what he could offer. Antonio was visiting all of the packs, each and every one and even if it took some time he was determined. A mediator among packs, a sage if you could call it. As soon as he found a place to settle, he would be certain to let the packs who wanted to know where he was staying. Messages, help, if any of this he could offer that would be great. The male raised his head in a short howl, clean and clear it held no hostility behind it nor did it rush. since he wasn't interested in joining, if he was asked to leave he would. He knew not everyone would be so interested in this new system that he was creating. The fluffy mexican wolf's pastel eyes would look across the borders at the waters. He wondered shortly what the wolves inside were like, and how loyal they were to each other. He hoped it was very much, he smirked slightly as he stayed in a civil posture to wait. "I speak"

The sound of a caller at the borders, a caller specifically for the alpha and the alpha alone, caught her attention from where she'd been stalking an unsuspecting turkey in the snowy stones of the rock garden. Gray ears pricked to the sound and she abandoned the hunt - the turkey, unaware that he'd gained a reprieve from his death sentence - would keep until the next hunt. She had duties to attend to as the drottin, and so she turned on silent paws from the rocks toward the outermost edges of their claimed territory. A slim figure awaited her, a younger female, taller but less hardened by the world than Katja herself. "Heil ok sæl, fremmed," she greeted coolly. "I am Katja Finnvi, Dróttin of Yfir, for whom you have called. For what do you seek here?" If she wished to join she would be welcome, but the set of her body did not give Katja the thought that she yearned toward the territory she called to, but rather away from it. A pack's messenger, perhaps? Katja's nose twitched, but no pack scent rushed her senses. Hm. "" ""

When he saw the woman, she seemed rather intimidating. Just the air around her at least, Antonio could tell that she was a strong leader. As foreign tongue left hers, Antonio would come to know that his Spanish was not the only foreign tongue. He would listen closely, and after something of a name had been established he smiled at her. "It's an honor to meet you Katja. My name is Antonio Ramirez. I came here wondering if you would be interested in making a sort of alliance with me. You see I'm going around to the packs to ask them this to offer my services. I don't belong to any pack nor do I wish to join one, but I do wish to be a mediator between them. It could make it easier on your wolves should they need to deliver a message, declare war, peace, or anything else. Especially if a wolf or yourself is busy I can be trusted to get the message across where needed." Antonio would explain politely. "My home will be somewhere in the middle of most of the packs, so I can be at easy access." Hopefully he had explained it fully. Of course she could ask all the questions she wished, about who he was, why he was doing this. Antonio had nothing against her right now and he certainly hoped he didn't step on anything that would make her angry. If it was one thing about him, it was that he was fairly respectful of all living things. "I speak"

The girl spoke up enthusiastically as soon as Katja finished speaking, and Katja sat back and just let the flood of words wash over her. Her silver gaze continued to stare neutrally at her, tracking every nuance of her movements and expressions. She listened, watched, and considered her reply until finally the stranger's words ceased. Katja was quiet a moment herself before she spoke, letting the silence stretch between them.

"No."

The single blunt word crackled through the quiet, but Katja had not shifted from her coolly neutral expression. "I am not interested in an alliance. I do not know you and have no reason to trust a rogue charlatan. I have a pack to run and I do not care to waste my time with such a fool idea. Is that all?"

Though her posture made it clear she was through with the conversation, she did not move from her position - she would not leave her borders unguarded while a confidence artist loitered there.

Antonio would nod his head to the woman, keeping a simple smile on his face. Of course none of this offended him, he completely understood the fact that she did not know him. Though hopefully in the future they could get to know each other if maybe just some of the packs were interested. He would probably be sending some messages her way if he was lucky enough. "I understand, I apologize for using the word alliance as an example." Antonio dipped his head. "I want to thank you for your time Miss Katja, perhaps in the future I'll see you again." a fool idea would strike his heart the wrong way. Yet, you couldn't exactly judge anyone on their decisions. "I hope you have a nice evening." Antonio would dip his head again and start to turn the other way. Giving out a soft inaudible sigh to himself, what was done was done. One no so far, he hoped he would have better luck with the others. Perhaps he should explain his service better. -exit unless stopped- "I speak"
