It had been a while since she set her eyes on familiar Ala territories. It had been here, back in these lands that she had first found the will to stand on her own four feet, to be an equal to the brothers she loved and find a profession she exalted at. Funny how much life had changed since then, how packs had risen and fallen, both in her presence and her absence. It had been a long journey to find her brother, to ensure he was well and okay, and to find the courage to come back here alone to the sight of her own personal victory. She had heard of family in the East, ruling a pack through enough time to be called stable and secure, a family of healers and it would be to them that she traveled. As she approached the borders of Threar, she took a deep breath. She wasn't that little insecure girl that had followed Scorp around like a lost puppy – not anymore. She could do this, she could raise her head and call for Novella, met this member of her family who was also a healer. So steeling herself, she did just that, threw back her head and called for Novella. ""

Threar was rather quiet these days, after the festival and with the change of the seasons the members of the pack all seemed to be tempted to try out hibernation it seemed. The same strangely couldn't be said for the borders, there hadn't been anyone new joining but they had certainly been receiving more attention than usual, the second call already this season. The voice wasn't one that was familiar to Novella, and all the Author could hope for as she neared the borders was that it wasn't some stranger appearing with a far-fetched idea. "Hello there, I'm Novella Destruction, Author of Threar." She greeted, drawing to a stop before the other woman. "What brings you to our borders today?"

The healer girl didn't have to wait long before her call would be answered, a white woman with petite eye markings would make her way to the border and introduce herself as Novella Destruction. Orchid would give a light smile as everything was confirmed, and nodding her head politely to the Thread leader, would introduce herself. “I'm Orchid Destruction” she would introduce herself, and reveal that she was family, before going on to explain herself. “I came here to find family, I've heard about you, that your a Destruction and a healer, and wanted to met you” she would say, through honestly beyond meeting Novella she didn't have any brilliant ideas, and would shuffle her feet awkwardly, wondering where to go from there. ""

Already this meeting was turning out to be a rather interesting development. The wolf before her certainly didn't seem familiar and neither did much of her name though her last name, that much Novella was of course incredibly familiar with. "Destruction?" Surprise more than anything made her repeat the name, the shock slightly evident within her tone. She had always known the family was rather vast though now was her first little taste at just how far it expanded here in Alacritia. Had she married in somewhere along the line or was this truly some long, lost relative? "Well the Destruction part you certainly have right. Novella responded with a small smile. "Though I'm not exactly a healer." She knew a little, had picked up various things over the years though not enough she felt to warrant such a title.

Novella would repeat their last name in surprise, and she could see it was a shock to the Thread healer. Yeah, Orchid had been surprised herself to hear there where more Destruction's floating around in Ala, and that their name was even well known as leaders of a pack that had been standing for a long while now. Novella would go on to explain that well she was a Destruction, she wasn't really a healer. A, well, she couldn't expect all rumors to be correct and at least the Destruction part had been right, marking Novella as family. There would be an awkward pause after Novella mentioned she wasn't a healer, and Orchid scrambled for something else to say. She had never been much of a people person, but her response's to them had always been fairly down to earth and unedited, she had no problem being rude, so she didn't exactly want to be herself and ruin her chances of making friends with family. “My parents are Adrenaline and Maia” she would say then, in an attempt to further the conversation. ""

There were rumours, little tidbits of information about Threar floating around? Aside from the festival to be completely honest Novella doubted that her pack really had much of a name around Alacritia, she'd always thought there was nothing famed about her home. There were healers here though, quite a few in fact though once more she certainly didn't think they were exactly well known; Sorrel certainly didn't want to be known and none of the others had given any signs that they had been famous at one point. Still a little unsure on what to say to this fellow Destruction a small silence fell between the two women. Orchid would be the one to break it, a little insight into her heritage and how the two were related. The Destructions were a large family, even before her generation though Novella hadn't known much at all about her aunts and uncles. They'd been scattered around the world she imagined long before she had been born. Funnily enough the only aunt she had ever known had in fact been from her father's tiny family. That being said she had been a little educated on her lineage though there had been a lot of names and Novella couldn't possibly attempt to list them off. Adrenaline though, it rang a bell. "Mine were Novel and Dutiron." Novella opted to share their names too, perhaps something would be more familiar to Orchid.

Well, this wasn't awkward at all. The healer girl shuffled her feet a little as she wondered yet again where to go from here. Maybe it was a mistake to come here, but she wasn't sure where else to go. She didn't know where Sol was, and Scorpion had settled back in to their old pack, a place she just wasn't ready to settle in to. Finding out she still had family in Ala, it seemed only logical to hunt them down. Thus far, the two hadn't found anything in common but their lineage. The woman wasn't a healer as Orchid was and the two had no shared history. “Ahh” Orchid would say softly, through in truth she didn't know the parents Novella spoke of. “Do you know of many other Destruction's in Ala? In truth I hadn't realized how far we had spread” she would offer with a touch of dry amusement in her tones, their family seemed to have spawned like rabbits when she wasn't looking, and she was only just starting to realize the extent of how far they spread. ""

Novella enjoyed to meet family, the fact that they had no idea how they were related was a little disappointing though the knowledge of further Destructions certainly an interesting topic for her. The silence was a little awkward, neither one completely certain what to say next and whilst a question was forming in the Author's mind, it was Orchid that would beat her to speaking again. "Many of my siblings were here at one point." Novella began, they had scattered far more than liked though. "Most I think have returned to our old pack, Ahlon, though I have nieces and nephews around still." She explained, they too were far less present in her life than she would have liked. "Do you have much other family around?" Novella enquired, curious to learn whether Orchid's own immediate family was equally as large.
