The forest was an old place. Thick ivy covered the ground, the trees as she walked by. There was an eerie tranquility about the place. A sense of calm and wildness that seemed to call out to her very heart. The place had a peaceful feel too, like she could wander around forever here and not feel any sort of sadness. As if being lost wouldn't even matter. Akemi felt a sense of call, her son resting quietly upon her back. The pygmy jerboa was exhausted, considering night had fallen upon the world. He wasn't used to staying up for long periods of time. He needed his beauty sleep.
Akemi would slow, breathing out as she looked around. Things looked to be rather quiet. There wasn't much of anything else around, not a single soul. She was sure that Einarr would be able to follow her scent trail here... but when her larger son would show she had no idea. She was also still hoping against hopes that she would soon see Zisa too. She missed her daughter... and feared the worst. Finding a large oak tree to rest beneath Akemi would carefully settle down, laying her head upon her paws. She remained alert, stubs of her ears continuing to twitch every so often.
