Masked eyes slowly blinked open, the air around him chilling him to the bone. Grunting, he tried to pull himself up to his feet, though his bones and muscles as well as his entire body ached fiercely. He slumped back to the wet ground, the sound of water rushing nearby, the swollen river sweeping the end of his tail. He was soaked, and he tried to remember what happened, how he had gotten here, but he was too exhausted and dazed to remember. He lay there breathing heavily, the male trying to calm himself and rest. He didn't know how long he had been lying here, or when he had washed ashore, but he swore he thought he was dead.

The sun moved from its high point in the sky towards the edge of the horizon, the sun sinking to bring darkness upon him. He had lost consciousness again, his fur remaining slick with the falling snow and the damp ground on which he laid upon. He didn't want to wake up, his body screamed at him everytime he moved. So for now, he'd remain the sodden lump of fur in the mud for now. And little did he know, a new mark had been placed on his face, a vertical wound that had been sliced across his left eye. The cold water and air had kept him from feeling the pain, the blood mistaken for water. He sighed, resting as much as he could for now until his strength returned.

If it was not one thing, it was obviously the other. Again another fight would have ripped them from each other. Rage filled his lungs, limbs carrying him Denki knew where to clear his head. Limno and he, often were like this. They frustrated each other and loved each other all the same. Still the wounds of the past would arise, and he would find himself begging for the attention of his siblings. The siblings he assumed were dead, he assumed had left him behind. Where had his world gone? Bass would be gone, he only had Limno. A part of him, only wished things would go back to how they were before.

Though, his bi colored orbs would find themselves focusing on a form. Something so oddly familiar, but struck him as odd. A deep growl erupted from his throat, ears pinning to the back of his head. The scent of blood had struck him and now he was infuriated that someone could do this to his brother. Quelt would rush over in a hurry, stopping near him as he sniffed his brother. "Kakashi are you alright?" he half yelled at him.

His breathing had grown calmer by now, the male resting practically all day and well into the night. He was in a deep slumber, at least until a voice so familiar charged into his head that he thought perhaps he was dreaming...or dead. "Do I look alright?" He hoped so, because he felt like shit! One undamaged eyelid opened to reveal a glassy gaze, the male still disoriented from whatever had transpired. To his amazement, he wasn't dead...though at this point he wished he was because his body still hurt as if he'd been struck by a train, then drowned, and like someone had set fire to his face. The wound he had acquired had been numbed before, though since his head had dried, he could feel it.

Painfully, he slipped his paws beneath his body and slowly pulled himself into a sitting position. The face of one he would never forget swam into his vision, though he could only see with his right eye at the moment, the left would be swollen shut. "Quelt...you're alive?" He hadn't expected to run into his brother, but he was glad. Even though he wouldn't admit it. He was in mild disbelief, his head still pounding with a fierce headache, this all could still be a dream, but he doubted it. The pain was way too real for that.

Quelt made a slight face of distress, before he let out a breath of air. Well Kakashi had always been a hard stone. Not that he wasn't worried about his smaller brother, it was just with how strong either were. "Zakuro curse me Kakashi I thought you were dead. Our sisters have since long been gone." it put a thorn in his heart to say that. Everyone was so close to each other when they had left the pack. It was hard to think about now that they were in these lands separation had taken to them so quickly.

"But, bless it be I'm alive and well." Quelt would settle himself, trying not to freak out over his brother's wounds. His siblings meant a lot to him, so once was found in this condition. He felt like his father once more bestowed strength on him to protect his siblings. They were the sons and daughters of nobleman they had to uphold some sort of bond while they were here.

Slate colored ears pricked at the mention of Zakuro. His brother was still going on with that? Some things never changed, but it brought a brief smile to his face until he mentioned the part about their sisters. How long had they been missing? As long as him perhaps? "Still going on about these Gods of yours eh?" He couldn't help it, it was something he liked to tease his brother about. But his face would grow serious then as he thought about the rest of their siblings. He was sure Quelt thought the same, that all of them had been really close before they had all decided to go their separate ways. At least, Kakashi had gone his separate way...he wasn't sure of Quelt had come here with his sisters or not, but the thought that they were missing worried him. "How long?" The question was simple, but he knew Quelt would understand what he was asking about.

He shook his head as he tried to clear away the drumming headache, taking a deep breath to calm his usual composed nerves. But his mind was still trying to figure out what happened...ah, but best to forget about it now. Maybe when his head was clear and pain free he would remember, but right now, his focus was on his brother. "Glad to hear your doing well. I'd say the same, but I can't even remember what happened before I washed up here..."
