Here it goes again
Laoch had gone to check on their parents but Arda hadn’t been ready… she wasn’t quite ready to face them with her truth yet. So as she was left to her own devices the girl had decided to explore beyond her cousin’s denning site. Somehow she had found herself in the gorge, curiosity taking hold as she explored the wall’s many caves. Some seemed to go on forever and the fear of being lost in the dark stopped her from going too far. Still others seemed to glow and it was only after she grew bored of that particular tunnel system that she turned back. Now the girl was lounging in the early spring sun, pleasantly surprised to have found a cave with a skylight. It was any wonder the walls here were still standing but she didn’t question it, only enjoyed her luck at having found the place to rest in the warmth. |

As soon as she was aware of the other wolf she was on edge, another day of dodging awkward questions and trying her best to make perfect strangers use the right pronouns it was then! Arda kept her head tilted back, sun washing over her features though her posture suggested that she was listening and waiting, aware of the stranger approaching. The woman who was her own age spoke then and Arda blinked open deep green eyes and she stayed still for a moment processing what had been asked. Then she finally fixed the caramel woman with a quizzical stare. "And how did you jump to that conclusion?" She tried to keep the edge out of her voice but she was really in no mood to be sassed by a complete stranger. "I do not know in what world deciding you feel like sunbathing that day equals fear of the dark, but no. You presume wrong." |
