ooc: This is of coure more of a welcome and chance for anyone else to join if they wish to.
The deadline is 8th September

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was time. She had waited far longer than she really needed to have done but nerves had held her back, even if the pack all knew by now that the change was coming. Song had been kind enough to grant Novella and Frith the falls, of course she was glad this meant they would of course be keeping their little cave but additionally it allowed her children a familiar piece of land as well. Song meanwhile had claimed the Kamui Delta to go alongside the Hot Springs and Novella had opted to choose Fontamo Bay. For now the humour was completely missed that the three Destruction packs of Alacritia formed a strong line through the East though she was certainly glad to have Sawtooth one side and Abaven the other, still surrounded by her family.

Now though it was time to step up and make everything official, to announce herself and Frith as the leaders, the Authors of Threar. Packs may have been renamed completely, though the girl had chosen to keep her parents rank titles. With Frith at her side, the Destruction girl had gathered her children and led them all outside. With a howl she would call the members of Threar forwards. It was strange, knowing that amongst those she was calling were her parents and elder sister. Her parents had always been the leaders after all, and Symphony had at least held a higher rank.

Aslan and his siblings were still a little too young to fully understand all of this pack stuff. They hadn't really known Ludicael at all, who its leader was or that the pack was dividing. All he did know however was that something was happening today. He could sense the strange tension in his mother, the feeling in the air of anticipation. The family would gather outside as they often did now but this would not be like their normal outings, this time his mother would howl. He would watch his parents curiously as the sound died down and then speak up. "What's happening?" He would question, quite curious about it all.

Staying close to her brothers, the young girl watched as her mother acted...differently. It was not long ago that she was enjoying her first moments outside with her family, and here she was now, in the same spot with her parents. Her mother had let out a howl, was she calling the pack together? Was her mother the leader of her family? Something was happening, and it wasn't just her that noticed it. Aslan had asked what was going on, and Varda agreed with him. She didn't say or ask anything, but the confusion could easily be seen through her amber and azure orbs. The pup stayed silent by her brothers' sides, awaiting the change.

It may have been a strange thought for Novella, summoning her parents to a pack meeting but even though he had been the first to nominate her for the leadership position of the new pack Dutiron still found it odd as well. It was a feeling that came across him regardless which of his descendants took such a role, Song, Lyric, Novella and of course even Bass as well. He was used to being the leader himself after all but more than that they still seemed so young to the ageing man. For starters how could his children now have children of their own, how could some of those children be ready to lead also? Time passed far too quickly.

Just as the oddity of the situation hadn't stopped Novella it certainly wouldn't stop Dutiron. He had promised to help his daughter and the first step was of course to be there to support her first meeting. Of course as all within the pack were family, he certainly expected all to be there. Gently he would rouse his youngest children awake. "We're needed at a pack meeting." He would explain simply as he led the way to the gathering point.

Novella and her family would be the only ones there so far. "Good morning." He would greet them all warmly as he settled himself down. She looked a little nervous though he still felt confident that she would do well. She was after all his and Novel's children, some took the leadership role better than others but he certainly felt all were capable. He after all had never intended upon being an alpha, had been terrified when he joined Novel in the role. If he could do it, so could they.

With the pack set in place the boy couldn't help but feel both sadness and happiness at it's creation. Sadness at the fact he was separated from some of his family, and yet happiness that they stood so strong, full of numbers, and were thriving. The boy had settled on his path in life too;; not one that sought such glory, but the boy wished to be a hunter, and, when needed, a fighter who would aid his pack through times both good and bad. Bi-colored eyes would flicker open, rising from where he lay outside the family den. He had stepped out this morning and must have fallen back asleep. A bit careless, but the youth didn't really have too much to worry about yet. A soft bark to his family and F?licien was off.

He would arrive to find Novella and Frith present, as well as his grandfather and two of the pups. They were all family, and that was what mattered. F?li would pad up to them, tail swishing happily, bi-colored eyes shining with happiness. "Good morning~!" His greeting was enthusiastic as he sat down, looking around. He was sure his mom, dad, and siblings would be along soon enough. Just given some time and they'd be here, right?

What was going on? There had been talk of a new pack at the meeting he had attended, and while everyone had seemed quite excited at the prospect, Anthem didn't fully understand. Why couldn't they all live together, as they always had? Was Novella leaving him, as Symphony had once done? A gentle whine left his lips as his sister's familiar call echoed over the lands. Though he didn't get what was going on, he would answer the call regardless, letting loose a short bark as he drew near the meeting.

His eyes brimmed with curiosity as he waited with questions he already knew would be answered. Anthem would slink quietly near Novella, offering a gentle nudge and shake of his head, turning to grin at his father with joy he could not hide. Whatever was happening, he simply didn't want to lose his family again -- he had been away from his parents for so long, and the brief loss of Symphony had been difficult for him to handle. He just wanted to be near his family.

It was his son, F?licien that was the first to respond, he could hear the boy?s call to them. Gitan had left the den only a bit earlier, lazing in the early morning sun just a ways off. A proud smile spread across his face as he rose to his paws. The man stretched, relishing once more into the summer heat, and moved off to join answer Novella?s call. Forest orbs scanned the gathering as he approached, landing solidly on Novella and her mate. Gitan gave them a gracious nod in greeting before moving off towards his son. The man seated himself beside F?licien and flashed the boy a grin.
It still felt weird, his children had grown seemingly overnight, or at least for how long it had taken him to return home, and while that was the strangest for him, the seemingly sudden changes thrust upon him after his return had left much of his head spinning. He hoped the meeting would help to ground him again.

The dark man would help his mate gather their three children, it had come to the time when the two of them would gather their pack. He was completely blown away by the turn of events in his life. He?d gone from knowing one wolf his whole life to suddenly being the alpha alongside a beautiful she wolf. He had no complaints at all, everything seemed so perfect for them. So with confidence he would usher out their babies, each one behaving as they quietly emerged. He would set himself on his haunches and let his similar song join with her beautiful voice. He would greet each wolf that arrived in turn, hushing his son tenderly. ?This is your first meeting, Aslan.? He?d smile and tenderly nudge the boy as the rest of Threar arrived.

Since the changes the pack under took the white healer had spent her time settling her family into a new den and setting up a large and brand new healer's den close to the family den. It took a lot of work moving all her herbs to a new location and selecting the right den for it. It was close to the falls, just a few feet away and the den itself a cave nestled between two trees and covered in vines and moss. The den was seemingly invisible when just scanning the area till closer inspection. Inside the den was large and spacious, allowing it to hold up to three adult wolves easily and still have room to work and have a separate area for storage. What delighted her was that natural light speckled the ground through little holes in the roof where the rocks did not fully connect. Though Symphony and Atlas tested the roof of the deb many times to ensure its durability.

She had not been at the family den when the howl of her sister went up. She had wanted to get a head start in getting soft dry bedding in the den that day, gathering moss and laying it out to try along with ferns. Head perked up at the sound and she gave her fur a good shake to rid of the dust before trotting to meet her sister and the rest of the family that made up Threar. Atlas flew silently over her, a constant shadow, but always reassuring to have. When she arrived she could not say she wasn't ashamed to be one of the last few to get there. Giving her younger sister and Firth a dip of her head she padded over to her mate and son. Nuzzling Feli she would lick the top of his head to smooth down the hair before licking Gitan's cheek lovingly and taken a sit next to him. Briefly she wondered where the other two children were but knew they would show up soon.

She had been napping in the family den, aware of her father there and Feli close by but not more. Curled up happily in the back of the den she dreamed of chasing butterflies through a field and someone else there with her. Only problem was she didn't know who. Everytime she looked at their face it was just a blur. But she felt safe with this unknown friend, as if they had known each other for some time. Briefly she thought maybe it was one of her brothers. But this dream would be cut short as a bark outside the den sounded. She groaned, wishing to go back to her dream, but the shifting of her father made her blink open her eyes. With a sigh she struggled to her paws.

She would follow at a much slower pace in a dazed fog of sleep. She just couldn't shake the heavy drowsiness off of her. But she was aware enough to follow her father and brother's scent to the meeting. By the time she got there her mother had arrived and she would flop heavily down by her brother, leaning towards him to hopefully lean against him and give an enormous yawn. "Hey Feli, whats going on?" She asked as she blinked up at him.

The split hadn't helped the boy too much, not when the only wolf outside of his immediate family that he felt somewhat close to was now in another pack. He also wasn't sure that the smaller numbers really helped too much either, many of the pack were children, to be exact though his new aunt, uncles and cousins yet the strange boy still felt no connection to them as he ought to do. He had spent much of his time aiding his mother with the healers den and exploring the areas for herbs to add to the store. He may have been a little more of a hindrance than a help at times as he still tried to learn what he could but he was trying and definitely taking an interest in his mother's work.

In fact that was where he had been to begin his day, off to explore for herbs, tempted even to explore beyond these new borders he found himself living within. A howl would suddenly sound from his aunt however and that would be the call for a start of a meeting. They had too many meetings in his opinion, and this one would be started just as he had gathered the courage to venture out and explore. With a small huff for his plans being ruined, Sorrel would turn back and meander further into the territory again until he at last came across the gathered family and pack. Without a word to anyone, the distant boy would move himself to his parents and siblings, only then would little nuzzles of greeting be given as he settled himself down.

ooc: I'm going to go ahead and assume that all of the pack showed up rather than wait so no need to write as a late arrival unless you really want to. Also no need to post again this round unless you feel you need to.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The strange feeling grew stranger still as her family, her pack began to gather before her. It was a rather peaceful start for a change, many of the Ludicael meetings had been full of some hostility towards the end, how long before she managed to annoy or hurt her family as much her parents and Song apparently had, she certainly hoped never though Anthem's sudden arrival would worry her that perhaps she already had hurt a member of the family. He looked a little confused though not entirely sad as he smiled and greeted her and their parents. A soft smile would greet her features as she nuzzled him in return and hoped her brother could get his head around the facts enough to know that nobody was abandoning him.

Of course summoning them all was the easy part, not she actually had to conduct the meeting. "Hello everyone." She would begin with a greeting as she looked out across her family. Formality with them had never come with ease and hopefully they wouldn't expect it now either, not fully anyway. She may have been an Author now but she was still their Novella.

"So here it is, welcome to Threar. The falls and Fontamo Bay will be our home now though I'm sure Song will welcome regular visits from all of us. Equally I hope to see a lot of Sawtooth and Abaven, I'm sure it's no surprise to say they are our allies." She would comment with a smile. The comment of visits partially for Anthem's benefit, wherever her brother to call home she would still make the time and effort to see him.

"Aside from the name and lands, Threar will still be very much like the Ludicael we've just left. The ranks will all be the same though with Prologue and Epilogue added to the previous Chapter rank." An opportunity for those to feel they were progressing with their knowledge even if they hadn't reached the Plot rank or were unable to do so. "Symphony I would like for you to keep your previous position of Drama if that is ok." She would await a response before looking to her sister's mate.

"Gitan, its good to see you back again." She refrained from commenting that she hoped he would be staying this time, though if he was to leave Symphony and their children once more Novella certainly wouldn't be happy with him. "I'm not sure what position you would like, or even whether you feel you have a certain speciality that you could teach in one of our Plot roles. I'm open to you working towards one if you wish though for now I will place you as a Chapter."

"My parents will remain Classics, their knowledge I'm sure still welcomed and required. F?li, Cerise and Sorrel you will currently be Prologues, I will be speaking with Song and Bass in hopes of getting you more lessons particularly hunting and fighting as obviously your mother has healing well covered." She would reveal her idea of sharing teachers then, hopefully all would approve, she had plans to speak with both alphas very soon.

"Aslan, Varda, Herne, Envoi Sonnet and Limerick will be known as Drafts." She would glance briefly to her own children and then to her younger siblings as well, naming them each to help them feel included as well. "Anthem." She would look to her brother now, including him as well and now making sure he knew he was more than welcome here. "You're welcome to join Threar as well if you like, or you can stay with Song?" She would make sure to speak to her sister about his decision after. "You can see us all as much as you like whatever you choose."

Myth did her best to hover unseen at the edges of the gathering; technically she wasn't even supposed to be here. She was part of Sawtooth, Song's pack. And yet? when she had returned to the fold she had done so more for her parents than for anyone else. It felt weird, wrong to be in a pack and surrounded by family and yet not see her parents milling about. It felt weird they weren't leading if she were being honest with herself, but they were old and even the eternally optimistic Myth had come face to face with the reality of her aging parents. She wanted to be there for them, wanted to stay within their sights.

There would be no immediate response though the arrival of another would distract the Author anyway. Though Myth had attempted to remain out of the way, Novella's senses still picked up upon her sister's arrival and mismatched eyes would be quick to seek her out as well. Sure enough, there she was yet another of the siblings had decided to come to her call. Whether permanent change or not was yet to be seen, as with Anthem though there was no use hiding at the back. "The same goes for you Myth, you're welcome to visit as much as you like or stay here." She would repeat the options for her sister as well, a small smile upon her features as she continued to await the responses of her siblings.
