Locha Elementas

Concentrated blue eyes stared straight down at the lapping water beneath them. The subtly followed the movements of the creature in the sea, the only part of the girl moving apart from the occasional twitch of her tail. A large fish, abnormally large for these parts, was swimming leisurely around the seaweed-covered rock Locha was perched on. Today was definitely a good day for fishing, as she already had another one of these big fish back on the shore. The blue-stained girl planned to give it to Gaia as she know that the sweet girl had been eating more and more in the past few weeks, and Locha had an idea why, but wouldn't dare ask to save herself from embarrassment if she were wrong.

Quick as a flash, Locha's paw swiped into the water and caught the fish with her sharp claws in the belly. It flew into the air above Locha before she caught it, quickly ending it's life. Happy with her catch, the sea-lover began making her way back to shore. But as she stood next to her other fish, she faced a predicament. She couldn't carry both of her catch back to her den at once, and she didn't want to make two trips, or get it all sandy. With a sigh the girl raised her gaze to see if any family was around to help.

Voltage had been very very busy, not that he tried to appear as such. He had yet to tell anyone, including Glacier, of the large changes in his life. He had noticeably seemed to have gotten over the sorrow of their parents passing a lot quicker than was natural for Voltage, but it could be blamed on his inate ability to cycle through emotions like a sudden storm that quickly comes and passes in the blink of an eye. He tried his very best to keep his overwhelming sense of joy to a minimum, to keep their secret so Gaia wouldnt be overwhelmed. He knew she was having a hard time with it, and her fear was rather overwhelming...He managed to focus most of his attention on her, he hunted constantly for her and spent most of his time in or around the den. He also spent a great deal of time with Orchid, learning all he could about pregnancy so he could be the one to help Gaia if she needed it. It wasnt so much that he didnt trust others to do these things for him, he knew his family was very capable...but there was a large part of him that held protective worry for his children and his wife...he didnt want a single thing to go wrong.

And that was his reason for being on the beach! It was time for lunch and he figured he might as well try his hand at fishing. Humming his mothers lullaby, a song he seemed to play on repeat. Perhaps he was being a little obvious... with a permanent smile he trotted along the black sand, blinking when he saw his favorite water-loving sister. "Locha!" He called over the distance, speeding across the beach towards her. He blinked at her fish before smirking. "At it again, my little fish?" He said with a chuckle. "You spend so much time in the water I doubt you will ever dry." He would smirk his signature toothy grin, eyes alive with happiness and cheer. Seeing her reminded her of his plan since they returned, and with the season at its high point they would have to plan it soon. "Youre just the Aqaelus I wanted to see~"

Locha Elementas

As if a his queue had been called, a conveniently free brother just happened to make an appearance. Locha's tail swung behind her to show her appreciation that her sunflower-coloured brother was now speeding towards her. At his comment and smirk, the blue-stained girl narrowed her eyes playfully. He knew as well as she did how hard it was stay away from the sea for any long period of time now that it was literally on their doorstep. It was so difficult that she didn't even attempt to refrain herself any longer.

Spotting a sand-free-ish rock, Locha moved and dropped her catch. Her jaw was a little stiff and clicked when she closed her mouth. Turning back to Volty, she replied with a grin.
I'm the only Aqaelus to see." The girl sat on the dark sand and her blue eyes sparkled with curiosity and amusement. What did her brother want now?

Voltage would grin brilliantly at her, in a far better mood than he had been in the past several days, or perhaps ever. He seemed to be a different kind of happy today. He had always had the shadow of their parents weighing on his mind, and now it was like closure, and he could enjoy his true happiness for the next little while. At her comment he couldn't help but chuckle. "Who knows, one day there may be another to battle for the fish crown." He said with a grin. Who knew how the next generation would work. They all came from their parents, and their elements were all different. He could potentially give life to another water lover! And he'd grin. "Eh, but you're the best Locha." He said, his smooth tones chipper as he nearly hopped over the sand towards her. "So! It's spring, and you know what that means right? Everyone is officially a year older!" He would hop, bounce, his excitement keeping him from being still. "It's a better season for celebration than our fall one! I say we put our brains together, and throw another beach party for our siblings. Don't you think?"

Locha giggled at his comment. To be honest, the thought of another little Elementas running around with a love of water, any kind, excited her immensely. Even though she had all all of the ocean deeps and river beds to explore, it often got lonely doing it alone. Her grin widened slightly at the thought that her suspicions about her yellow brother and his mate were true.

"So! It's spring, and you know what that means right? Everyone is officially a year older!" Locha rolled her eyes playfully at her brother and his endless bounding around, although she couldn't help her own tail from waving fast behind her. She had been thinking the exact same thing!
"Duh! Of course we need another party! We can make it even bigger than last year, seeing as there are a lot more in Donostrea." she winked. Wondering how Voltage would take that comment. It could be taken as an innocent reference to Anais and her family or perhaps some younger additions?
