Once he heard the news about Gaia there would be nothing in the world that could keep him away he would search first for the perfect flower, plucking it gently from its roots to give it the longest stretch of life. Oddly enough, somewhere along the way he had become a professional flower picker, knew how to find the prettiest daintiest things and how to give them the longest life. Holding it gently in his maw, he would make his way to voltages den, where he had no doubt be would find the pregnant girl.
For a moment there was just the soft pad of his paws against the loose sand, and the midday sun warming his dark coat. The petite flower twirled gently against his gums in a absent manner as he moved across the territory. He couldn't remember ever feeling more at peace then he did at that moment as he appreciated how once again actions on voltages part had completely soothed his mental pains... even if this one wasn't exactly intention.

He cleared his throat once he arrived at the den "Mrs Elementas?" He asked, his voice gently teasing as he ducked his head around to peer into the den and wink at the girl "Gaia" he added, his voice gently, if garbled from the flower. He had known from the start that Gaia would one day been family, had always treated her as such. Voltage might been fleeting in his emotions but something about Gaia had turned his head, and then he had simply never looked away again, and Glacier had known. "May I enter?"

It was the middle of the day, Gaia was lingering in the den, something she did quite often, listening to the ocean while the day wasted away. She felt useless right now, she could hardly go out because of the nausea that seemed to grasp hold of her when she stood for so long. Voltage helped her though, taking her on little walks through out the day to exercise her lazing body.

She expected to have visitors soon, she'd given Volt the go ahead to start telling his family that they were expecting. She was kind of embarrassed that they'd happened so quickly after the start of their relationship, but it was obvious that Volt was devoted to her, these pups would be born into a loving family. Her almost sleep would be disturbed by the sound of Glacier's deep voice, instinctively she'd lift her head and turn towards him, her silvery ears perked at his words. She'd grow a bit red at his teasing, she wasn't quite an Elementas yet. "Hello, Glacier. Of course you can." She'd say softly as she rolled her form to face the entrance of the den. He hadn't said anything yet, but she had a suspicion he was here to see about his soon to be nieces and nephews.

Gaia would reply instantly, looking up at him and shuffling to be in a better position to welcome a guest. He inched into the cave and made his way towards her, settling in at a small distance to give her some privacy. When his tail was curled about his hunches with his rump against the sandy floor he would speak again. “I here congratulations are in order, and that your going to be a true member of our family... although to be honest you where from the moment you stepped foot onto Donostrea” he teased her gently.

He hadn't spoken with Gaia very much he realized, other then an initial greeting and to welcome her wholly into his heart as family. She was a petite thing, blind and gentle in nature. She didn't have Voltage's energy and they seemed fairly opposite except for their compassion. But Glacier could never deny that the pair loved each other, and he thought they where a wonderful match, they balanced each other in a way even Glacier and Voltage couldn't, but that didn't negate how important Glacier was to Voltage, instead it complemented it. But he needed to know Gaia for who she was, not just for who she was to Voltage. “Do you have a favorite flower?” he asked, as he placed the snow-in-summer flower he had picked for. Its silver petals and delicate form had seemed right for her, and its name just as soft.
