Rusted metal suck out of the ground in a haphazard matter, strewn about like leaves in the wind. The girl wove through them, the scent of the rotting material similar that to the stench of blood. It was a smell that the dame was used to, one that she missed and craved. A smirk coloured her black lips, her pale elongated tail curling around one of the instruments as she walked passed it. The cold sank into her very bones, chilling her. Pausing, she turned and looked at the object, black marked head tilting to the side slightly. What were all these things anyways? She had heard that they were from humans, that this was a place where they used to come for battle. Much like their own battlefield, but that place brought a thrill through her more than this place. No, this hill was... different. It almost felt more haunted, filled with things that she didn't even have a name for. Her purple gaze focused back on the metal sphere that her tail had claimed for its own. There was still parts of it that she could spot her reflection in, but it was badly warped with the dents in the sheet metal. Bending her head to sniff at it, she pulled back with a wrinkled nose. It smelled like blood and cold, the smell of metal somewhat knew to her. She had been to this place once before, but she had been a lot younger there. Sighing, she sat down and looked upwards, cursing the cold breeze that ruffled her white coat. Spring had started, and yet it felt nothing like it.

Noon came and passed, the sun offering her pelt little warmth. She stayed where she sat, still holding onto the object with her tail. She had no idea that it was a helmet, or that humans used to put on their heads as protection. Tales of humans were long gone, her mothers own stories had been very, very limited. Before long, she didn't doubt that any whispers of the strange creatures would even be around anymore, and yet this place still stood, holding items which they once claimed. But would these too turn to dust and fade away? Mercy wasn't sure of that, they seemed to stand for this long. Huffing, she glanced briefly at the object now, her long tail had warmed the parts that it touched. Silly things, these humans must have been. They weren't even strong enough to survive in this world, leaving it instead for the wolves to rule. She doubted that they would have even lasted longer, not into her mothers life time. If they could be eradicated so easily, were they ever that strong? She chuckled to herself, head shaking. She knew that wolves would never be erased from here, they were too strong. They outlived the humans, and she knew that they would outlive everything else that came their way.

Lyria shivered, the cold seeming to chill the tiny girl's bones as she moved forwards, ears pressed flat against her skull. A soft snort escaped the ghost's jaws. And this was supposed to be Spring? Another shiver went through her body, as she made her way forwards. She might as well continue on her way; there was no reason for her to just be sitting around there, freezing. Her tail swished behind her, her mainly ivory fur sleek and offering no extra warmth. As she pushed on, she stopped as she noticed a dented thing, sticking out of the ground. It wasn't anything shiny, but seemed to have a scent a lot like that of blood. Hesitantly, the tiny girl moved closer, nudging the unknown item with her nose. "What is this?" Her voice was soft as she nudged the item again. Another scent made her look up, her blue violet gaze searching until she found another wolf, one who had the same ivory color as she. The only difference was that this wolf was much taller. Shivering, Lyria made her way towards the female, debating on if she was really going to do what she was planning. As she moved closer, she saw the black markings on the female's face. After she was close enough, she stopped and pressed against the female's side, another shiver going through her.

She let her thoughts wander, nothing and everything going through her mind at once. She contemplated returning back to her pack, but just shrugged her shoulders. Tail tip twitched where it rested upon the metal object, a slight stir in her chest telling her to just move on. But she had found a rather nice place here, and it was quiet. The silence was better company than she could have asked for. That was, until she felt a tiny thing press itself against her. Blinking her purple eyes she gazed at the tiny wolf, lips curling back slightly. She had no idea who this girl was and she just walks over and uses her as a heating pad? Oh no, not on her watch. "Can I help you?" she asked irritably, raising to her paws and uncurling her tail from the object that she had claimed. Tsking her tongue she moved to try and stand in front of the girl, towering over her tiny sature. "Do I know you?" she questioned, tail rising to curl above her back. She was no ones cuddle buddy, and this woman was a fool if she thought any different. Delicate brow raising she eyed the beast, waiting for a reply.

Lyria felt as if her limbs would freeze and snap off, even pressed against the other. Shivers still went through her, and all too soon the other would move away. "Can I help you?" The taller female's voice was irritable, and Lyria would speak through her violent shivering. "Cold." At this rate, the female did not want a fight. She was cold, and even a fight didn't seem like it would help.... Wait......Am I getting sick? Yes, the tiny female was acting odd, in a way. She had no interest in fighting, even though she had met two fema- "Do I know you?" The other female asked, and Lyria spoke once more. "Lyria." Her last name would not be offered. Not yet, anyways.
