Rhythm would make her way to where the 'common area' seemed to be here in the knolls. There were a few half eaten kills strewn about, surely they would be eaten by the morning, and the strong scent of Seraphim brought her here. She'd tracked him down for their very first patrol. The meeting had been earlier, and she was still a bit shaken from the whole thing. She knew very well she'd made more than one wrong decision, and she'd paid for them all dearly. It just hurt a whole lot less to pretend that nothing had happened. So she'd try to put the girl and the very real history she brought up in the back of her mind. She was here to get to know Seraphim. Her bright eyes would search for his form, she hoped he hadn't scampered far away from here. Delicate chocolate paws would carry her easily over the grasses as she thought she caught a quick glance of him in the twilight. "Seraphim?" her sweet voice called out, was he prepared to do a patrol? ""

SERAPHIM IMPERIALIS Phim had no idea how long it might take for Rhythm to come fetch him, but apparently it wouldn't take long. He'd decided to mill around the most active area for the pack, and his intuition paid off because before long she came calling. The patch of grass thatch he'd chosen to relax on partially obscured him, but he rose up and shook the debris out of his coat at the call. She wasn't far, only a few dozen yards, and he loped towards her in just a few of bounds. "Miss Rhythm, hi!" A broad smile crossed his face and excitement welled up in his chest, because this was his time to shine. He'd been going on "patrols" of his own since the moment Cascade had let them roam on their own, and he was ready to flaunt his stuff. "Where are we going?" He was so excited that he had to dance in place, paws refusing to stay still. "Just so you know I know Daddy's lands better than anyone probably, so this is gonna be fun!" And never mind that Phim was just a yearling, that plenty of wolves had been in this pack long before he was even born and probably knew the land just as well. The thought didn't even really cross his mind, because to him this was finally a chance to be helpful, instead of 'shirking his duties' or 'wandering off.' He was so ready for this! He'd rise up out of the grasses like some massive long limbed monster, though she knew that assessment couldn't be farther from the truth. Phim was a sweet boy, and hard to believe sometimes that he was so closely related to his sister. She'd smile as he approached, her tail wagging softly behind her as he offered a rather jovial greeting. "Hello," she'd answer as his smile brightened and he questioned where they might go. He was also quick to boast that he knew the lands better than any other wolf within. This fact was very much contested, but she wouldn't correct him. Confidence was important is a wolf's life and it didn't seem like that confidence would turn to a big ego in Phim's case. "It will most certainly be fun! I figured we could walk the perimeter together?" She'd tilt her head curiously as she waited for agreement, "And since you know the land so well, you'll lead right?" ""
