She followed the curve of the lake lazily. For reasons she couldn't quite place Sabine was drawn to the shores of Firefly Lake. She'd reunited with her siblings recently and while being with them was wonderful, it felt good to strike out on her own. The giantess craved independence; what once had been an isolating feeling had hardened into a need to outwit and outperform anyone who was put in her path, family included. Every once in a while though she just needed to relax, to let go of the fierce grip she had on her shield and simply chill. Seeking perfection was an exhausting endeavor. Sabine's head lifted as a gentle breeze brought the scent of another to her. The giantess paused to scent the breeze, nostrils twitching and breath leaving her in soft huffs as she tried to gauge exactly what kind of creature was in the area. Her tail flicked in thought. She wasn't entirely sure how she felt about company, if that was indeed what she was in for. It was entirely possible that whoever was wandering around the lake would pass her by without thought. In any case, they were getting closer by the second and she'd get an answer soon enough...

Lyria was truly a wanderer. She had been debating joining a pack, but at the moment she wasn't sure. Walking around the lake, she was half tempted to plunge in. Either way, she was in no mood for- Oh no. A scent she had only smelt once, from another female, hit her. "Just great." The tiny demon muttered, prepared to walk around the female when she had to. As she drew closer, however, the size of the wolf made her stop in her tracks. This wolf was huge. Ears flattened against her skull as Lyria debated if the female was going to attack or not. She would not want to risk being attacked by such a tall creature. "Giant." Words were muttered under her breath, and Lyria spoke in her devicingly sweet voice, louder than her previous muttered word. "Hello."

The other didn't continue on as Sabine had hoped. Instead she - and yes, that voice was feminine - paused close by. Her muttered word didn't get by the sharp ears of the giantess and Sabine digested it in silent, expressionless amusement. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she was a giant in a land of dwarfs. Big Sabine. Huge Sabine. Giant, giant, giant. "Hello," greeted the girl in a sweet, bell-like tone, her youthfulness ringing through the simple word. She sounded like a naive young thing, as new to the world around her as a fawn. Sabine's tail continued to flick like a cat's. She hummed to herself thoughtfully for a moment before purring, "Hello." The girl had moved in deliberately for a conversation so it stood to reason that she would have to support it. The giantess was content to let the girl carry or discard the whole mess.
