For Tally, a lesson in Russian! Other tribe members are welcome to sit in and learn ^^ - A translation for any Russian words can be found by hovering over them though for this thread, given it is a Russian lesson, it will be translated via speech AND will have the hover on it.

It had been an off day, Natalia having found herself tired from the hunting she had done before lunch. She would settle down in her makeshift den within the vast forest that the nomads lurked in occasionally before she thought about it. It had occurred to her sometime prior that while she spoke Russian often, most of the time using phrases mixed in with her English, no wolf truly knew what she was saying. It was this that made her decide to let out a general call, just to see if there was any interest in learning the new language. She would raise her muzzle, calling out to her fellow tribe members to inquire about learning a new language. Her call went on for a few seconds before she dropped back into her reserved nature.

She thought of the terms she often used, such as мой друг, or ‘my friend’ and then the names of each of the members of the tribe. They had their own unique pronunciation and while some sounded as if they might be English with her foreign accent playing a role in how they were said, she knew otherwise. She knew that ‘my friend’ was pronounced more as ‘moy drunk’ with a slight twinge to it, but did the others know that she was calling them a friend? She doubted it! The tigress would perch herself up, sitting with her bum on the ground and her front paws keeping her upper body up in the air, her head held at a normal level, neither up or down. The sapphire and ebon wolf would wait to see if any of her adopted family would answer her call and find interest in another culture.

Tally didn't know really anyone very well, except for maybe Kati and Wraith. She knew of everyone though, everyone names perfectly stored in a small corner of her memory. But she didn't know them all very well. And now as she grew older by the day she had this intense desire to get to know them. Her fantasy and reality were slowly seperating, she was even beginning to realize that her imaginary friend was just that...imaginary. So she wanted...to spend time with her clan. The first that she seemed to stumble on that day, the day she decided that she would venture off and meet more of her clan, was the russian wolf. She knew of Natalia, but she didn't quiet know her. There was a language barrier there, somewhat, that Tally couldn't understand. So when she stumbled upon her here in the canopy of the trees, she couldn't help but feel a little awkward as she strotted up. "Hello?" She asked softly, a smile upon her gentle lips, her gold eyes shining in the dappled light. She truley belonged her, the colors of the forest, blending in as she danced among the trees, her eyes shining like the light that tried to cut through the leaves every day. "How are you, umh...settling?"

<3 - A translation for any Russian words can be found by hovering over them.

There was a comfortable silence that filled the air around her. The Russian blood would wait patiently on her rump, her front paws stuck out in front of her, for the others to arrive. She could hear the wind blow through her ebony fur, leaving her in a serene setting as a familiar figure approached her, appearing shy in the eyes of the former princessa. Her voice was soft, causing a small grin to form on the tigress’ face as she examined the girl whom had shown up for the lesson she called. “Hello, жизнеспособность.” The unusually long word running through her maw smoothly.

She supposed it was time for the lesson to start, though the woman did pose one more question to her which the Russian had no issue in answering. “I’ve been settling in well. I called a lesson for those who want to learn some of my language to better understand me when I speak. Are you interested, мой друг?” She would ask, clarifying the woman’s reasons for being there and talking to her. There was a small glimmer of hope in her eyes, finding a usually uncharacteristic want to talk to other people. She did normally prefer silence, though she caved to social expectations occasionally.

She blinked at the length of..sound that flowed from the woman's mouth, and she couldn't have even begun to guess that that was her name. She was so used to going by Tally, which was beautifully short, so it didn't even click that the striped woman was calling her by her full name. With a gentle, awkward smile she'd sit down infront of her, getting comfortable even before she was invited to do a lesson. The Diamachi was her family, so why not get comfortable? Her ears perked slightly at the words learn and lesson, her brilliant gold eyes quickly lifting to hers. A grin spread across her lips as she quickly nodded her head. "I'd love to learn!" It could be like their secret language together. Tally always wanted to have a secret language. Excitement flooded through her veins as she shifted slightly, her ears perked and her shining eyes wide with energy. "Is it hard? I mean, I wanna learn, but is it really really hard?"

<3. - All Russian words are translated to English as this is a lesson so there are no hover translations.

The girl would settle in which allowed the older woman to settle into a small smile and relaxed poise. The former Russian princessa watched, listening carefully as Vitality announced she would love to learn the language that Natalia spoke. There was a slight shift in her lay as the yearling asked if it would be difficult to learn a new language. She did not answer with a nod or a shake of the head, because it truly depended on the wolf. “It depends, жизнеспособность. Sometimes pronunciations of certain words can be difficult which means sometimes it takes time to grasp.” The Russian beauty would explain as her bruising fur shook slightly.

She waited a few more seconds and noted no changes to the area. It was time to start the lesson and if others were interested, they were welcome to pop in. “Why don’t we start with your name? Vitality in Russian is жизнеспособность and if you wanted to say Tally, It would be число.” The words were graceful off of her lips, though she slowed saying each Russian term so the bright and cheery girl could get a grasp as to how to say them.
