Unburdened somewhat, Katja and Kassander continued further south and east from Imperium lands to find the lands of the pack Warja had spoken of when they'd been planning their raid. Oh, Katja was still interested in raiding them, if possible - a trade agreement with anyone would do little to curb pirating by Yfir wolves, as they would all come to learn eventually. But, she knew little of them still, and little of what they might have to offer the northern pack. So, trailing a dutiful Kassander with his companions and his similar burden of jars, she made her way to the border of the plains the pack had claimed. Standing just back of it's edge, she lifted her head to scent the wind blowing toward her, carrying the scent of plentiful prey and lush summer grass. Hm, that was indeed a possibility then, particularly as the lands began to ease toward fall and the north's supply of food dropped.

Seating herself, and feeling the burden of jars shift and settle, she lifted her head in a polite call to this unknown alpha and their pack.

(OOC: will post Kass later, assume he is there, his fox is there, and his teeny tiny lemur is there on his head ^_^)

Kassander waited alongside Katja at the border of this new, unknown pack. He'd never met any of the wolves in this pack while he'd been alpha, and knew nothing of them. Not the name of the alpha, not who was in it, not what they were like. It made him anxious, and he pressed his shoulder against Rommel's, seeking comfort in the fox's stolid presence.

They waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Kassander cast Katja a confused - and concerned - glance. "Do... do you think they're going to come?" he asked her softly. Why wouldn't an alpha answer the call of another alpha on their borders? They'd come to the right place... the border smelled of fairly fresh scent markers. Was the alpha not in? Had the pack recently moved? It made him even more nervous than before, this not knowing. What reason could they have to be ignoring them? The call had been open to all of the wolves of the pack, too, so shouldn't someone at least have shown up to investigate? Maybe they just didn't do border guards or something... "Should we call them again?"

"Kassander" "Rommel" "Remmy"

Voltage Elementas

Voltage panted, his muscles ached as he bounded across the territories. He was late! Late! They had called ages ago and he was late! It wasn't so much that he was ignoring them, that was the last thing Voltage would ever do. He loved visitors! He loved meeting new wolves from other packs. Especially if they were friendly, as he had come to know. No, Voltage had been a little...eh, tied up. His daughter, the little trouble maker, kept him quite busy. So finally he managed to drop her off in one of her aunt's paws and he slipped away, booking it as fast as his stamina would allow. He wasn't built for great distances, and unlucky for the Ferax he had began at the greatest distance away he could be while still being in the Donostrea land.

Paws would beat against the earth as he trotted up towards them, his breath labored as he finally managed to reach the pair. "T-terribly sorry for my a-absence...." He said, panting as his lungs burned. He took a second, his head bowed, to catch his breath before sighing. He was mildly...a tad annoyed that he was the only one here, but it wasn't necessarily anyone else's job to do so besides him, Glacier and Serefina. He had no idea where the fire girl was, what she was up too...he missed her dearly. So, with his signature grin he reguarded his visitors. "Welcome to Donostrea! Again, so sorry to make you wait. We have some little ones, and they decided now would be a lovely time to get into some mischief." He said with his signature grin, dipping his head just slightly. "What brings you to visit us?"

Katja tilted her head toward Kassander. "Patience," she advised him, "is a great virtue to cultivate."

As though her words summoned him, a yellow-marked male burst out, coming to a halt and panting through and apology. "Pups will be pups," she murmured in dutiful politeness. "They have no sense of convenience. I am Katja Finnvi, alpha of Yfir in the north, and one of our healers Kassander Xanilov with his companions. We have come to offer a trade to your pack, if you or any of yours has interest." She offered to him the jars of liquid. "It is called alcohol, if you are unfamiliar with it. They are beverages brewed of fruits, herbs, and honey, and well suitable for celebrations, although the ciser and wine," she indicated them as she said the names, "are also well suited for casual use."

OOC: Go ahead and skip Kassander. Unless he's specifically addressed he's probably not going to say anything.
