The girl hadn’t been interacting with her pack mates as much as she should have, she really wanted to but there were so many she didn’t really know where to start. Maybe she should start with the elders of the pack, or should she start with the other pups and yearlings. She really didn’t know, it was a bit much for her so she had just decided to stay in the den for a couple of days. Today she had decided to come out after thinking a bit. She wasn’t going to get anything done staying in that den, it would be better for her to try and do something than nothing at all, right?

The pale girl sniffed around the base of a small bush, she could have sworn that she smelled a bird around here. Where there were birds, there were feathers! She wanted to add to her feather collection, she only had a few behind her family den. The need to get more was a strong drive for the dame, and she didn't even notice the much younger pup behind her. Sticking her nose into the bush she peered at the ground at the base of the shrub. There had to be a feather here somewhere, she saw the birds picking the berries off the branches, and saw at least one feather fall down. Where in the world did it go? Huffing, Finch pulled her head out of the branches, leaves and a few small twigs clinging to her face. She didn't seem to have a care in the world though, her pale blue eyes were looking for only one thing. Trotting in a tight circle around the plant, her nose close to the ground, she kept all of her senses perked for at least one feather. A slight breeze ruffled her pale coat, and caused a small brown and white feather to stir from the ground. There! She caught the movement, her rump wiggling as she pounced and caught the feather in her gentle paws. Letting out a gleeful laugh she took the feather in her jaws, very carefully, and started to look around for more.

"SPEAK!"
