I'm a Beautiful Butterfly!

The noonday sun arched across the sky, and today the teal colored girl weaved her way by herself through the plants of the Fern Gulley. Each day she would go a little further, finding something new in her peaceful little home. She didn't know what lied beyond, but someday she would grow brave enough to find out. She chose to sit beneath a rather broad leaf, the plant hung on a thick stalk like an umbrella that could potentially shield her from the rain, if there was any. But she had never seen rain, all she knew was the sunny weather that shone constantly upon her. Her tail wagged mildly as she nipped at the leaf, watching it bob up and down as she giggled. |

Damn! He had done it again, went to sleep next to his mom and dad and then woke up somewhere else. Though it was close enough to home to now he knew how to get back on his own without an adults help. However, Rivaxorus decided that he was going to go exploring. Just remembering the normal protocol, if something happened raise his voice in a howl bite those ankles and run. Until he was big enough to fight like his god mother, he had to concentrate on his training as a prince! If he couldn't handle a simple trip on his own what kind of prince would he be? His paws carried him into the gulley until he stopped hearing a girls giggle. It was light and soft much like that of his siblings but he'd know their voices anywhere this was another pup.
Crouching suddenly, the big boy would walk forward and spot her. His head tilting to one side, she had a weird color on the top of her fur. Like if she got rained on and the rain turned into a more vibrant color. He had seen rain and snow from beginning his life up in the north. His momma told him here, it would only snow in the winter which was one of the four seasons. Moving towards the little girl, he would greet her. "What's so funny about the leaf?" he asked curious. He could see why it would be funny, but why did she find it funny?
