I'm Scurred

The boy had followed his older brother on the promise of being taught how to hunt, what he was too naive to think about was the fact that he would have trouble learning without a guide. And that was precisely the dilemma he had. His older brother had told him to stay here, though little did he know that Enigma was screwing with him because of his blindness. Or maybe it was a test to see if he could find his way back home...fat chance of that ever happening. He sat in a clearing, birds calling out all around him, ears falling against his head as he crouched close to the ground. He was beyond nervous, fearful even. He had no idea where he was, and he wished that his mother or father were here...Enigma had told them he was taking him out on a hunting trip, and they believed him. Would they believe the pup if he told them what had happened? Most likely. That was if he ever found his way back.
With a small whimper, the boy crawled forward as he clumsily tested the grounds before him. It was much harder to navigate when you couldn't see what was in front of you, and the sounds of the many different birds frightened and confused him even more. The trail they had left behind was dispersing as birds flew by, muddling his scent with their own. Crawling along with his tail tucked, the boy would move in the hopes he was going in the right direction..
