Everlast - What It's Like
BIC:: Large paws carried the tall wolf along the river bang across the grassy earth's surface. The day was coming to a close, the sun retreating slowly to it's setting horizon. It was warm out. And Humid. Just like the jungle that Obito had come of age in, so he was unphased by it. The only issue it present right now was the fact that it would take him hours to become fully dry again after going for a swim to beat the heat and catch his dinner. His fur clung close to his side, slowly drip drying as he walked along. A large catfish handing from his maw. His muzzle was settled in a neutral expression, his eyes reflecting a similiar emotion. This loner shit, it wasn't for Obito. He hated being alone, being a wanderer. But it was a much required evil for him right now.

The boy didn't want to just jump into the first pack he ran across. Because such actions had a bad habit of leading to you waking up one morning and realizeing that you are living under a tyrant and on the wrong side, fighting for a cause you neither support nor believe in. Above all things, Obito wanted to lead a good life. Sure, he had his demons sleeping inside him. But if he was to be applied as a destructing force, he'd prefer it to be for a proper reason. Something justifiable. The Folami had been puppets once. Puppets dancing on iron strings to do the bidding of evil monsters. The evil monsters had been given just punishment for their deeds, having their puppets taken away by the real God. Souls put where they had never meant to be and strings cut away. It was a very unplesant story. Things happen when suddenly a demon suddenly develops a sense of right and wrong. It was a long time ago, but the echos could still be heard. It was too important to be forgotten. Because when we forget history we doom it to repeat itself.

The price was too high. To live a good life. Even the greatest of shining white knights could be degraded by the taint of power. All he knew in his heart of hearts though was that he simply didn't want to be a puppet. He would not dance on strings for anyone. Maybe because of his youth, but rebellion still bubbled inside the brute. Or maybe his mood was simply because of the lack of sleep he'd had the past few days. Alacritis was plentiful. But it was also demanding. And Obito was skinny. He need to feed. He needed blood. He needed to pack on fat while he could to keep himself strong and warm come winter. Which meant he had to scout and hunt. Track prey, observe moment. Memorize, expand, and learn. That woman though. Surreal. She'd told him a story, it had almost secured him at her side. If for no other reason than because he wanted to play wittness to her claiming her birthright.

As it sat right now though, he was still just a blank slate. An empty page with no meaning or purpose still waiting to be defined. All the potential in the world, but no expeirance yet. And right now, he just wanted someone to stand beside. Or did he just want to be left alone? It was all just a haze. Bubbly half thoughts and confusion.

Shut up... Just shut up head... Just stop thinking for two minutes and focus on nothing at all.
