Oh the pain, it radiated through her like a storm. Quickly she had gotten Quelt to fetch a healer, as she lay in her den only feeling every sense of contraction in her. Nothing in her life could compare, and she wasn't sure if this was normal or not. Limno was partly convinced that she was dying, however maybe that's what she had to go through to get these children into the world. Heirs to Quelt, they would hold his last name. Hopefully healthy sons in the back of her mind. As she gripped her claws into the dirt she let out a short howl just in case Quelt was having trouble. He could always come meet the healer here. Her tail was raised and she was on her side. Her mind was nearly blank from the pain but she held through. She could do this, she reminded herself. After all, she had to be able to get back to hunting. She couldn't be a social shut in forever!

With his mother's pregnancy Starling had been sure to be over prepared. He had more than enough pain mediciation to knock out a herd of elephants and then some, and his trillium wasnt lacking. He had sure lucked out in his search for Trillium. So when Quelt had come around, saying something about a birthing, Starling was prepares. He had quickly ducked into his store along the way, gathering what he needed before bounding towards her. Pregnancy was such a miracle, but the amount of pain the woman had to go through always made him nervous, even if he didnt show it. He was getting better at it, at turning the nervousness off and entering a more mental plane where emotions didnt come in. All he was, in those moments, was a single calm mind that needed to work quickly. And quickly he did. Walking quickly towards her, he would drop his bundle and pull a portion out for her size and the amount of pain he saw. He quickly moved the herbs before her, looking down at Limno with a gentle smile. "E-eat, itll help with th-the pain. Chew thoroughly if you can." He advised before looking to Quelt. "Pl-please, take the moss there an-and soak it in w-water for her." He directed in a serious tone before turning to the woman. He stepped around, counting quietly between contractions and gently nudging at her stomach. It was definitely soon, so he would carefully but commandingly move to nudge her into a more comfortable birthing position. "H-have you b-been taking y-your mediciation?" This was the first time he had heard about Limno's pregnancy so he hadnt been the one to prescribe anything. Whoever it had been should be here, but he wasnt sure. It was possible that neither Limno or Quelt had informed a healer….that would have to change, he decided, as he counted beneath his breath, waiting for them to get closer together.
