Drag Me To The Grave

She'd lost track of time while living in the Eastern mountains. If one were to ask how long she'd been away from home she could no longer give an answer. She'd left to search for her mother and brother, but instead all she'd managed to do was get herself incredibly lost. After all, how well was a youngster supposed to navigate a land as big as Alacritia? Needless to say her efforts of finding her family had been futile. Of course by the time she'd felt ready to return home to her father she'd realized she had no earthly idea how to get back. So she'd remained lost and left to her own defenses for some time now. At first she'd done rather poorly and had nearly starved to death as a result. Of course it was kill or be killed and she hadn't been ready to die yet (considering she wasn't even two yet) and so she'd eventually learned. She knew how to use her size to her advantage and if she wasn't quick enough then it was fairly easy to find all the best paths to sit and wait for the prey to come to her. Needless to say she was doing better for herself. Her regular haunts had been Mount Volkan and Fenrir's Maw. She wasn't sure why but it seemed better than moving on. There was plenty of prey to catch when she was hungry, streams and other places to drink from, and plenty of places to explore to keep herself occupied. It wasn't home but it was a nice enough one that she felt drawn to stay there for the time being. It was comfortable and it was known so therefore she stayed. It was drizzling today. A soft rain that dampened her pelt and seeped into her bones. Had she been up closer towards the peaks of the mountains she would have gotten to enjoy the thrill of snow instead, but that was not the case. She traveled at a low trot only stopping every so often to study some interesting looking rock or to sniff a certain plant that caught her eye. She wasn't quite sure where she was going, but she supposed it didn't really matter for the time being. All she knew was that she didn't want to laze about all day and sleep. She'd never had a problem with rain before and today was no different. Walk, "Talk" Think |

Okay, so reuniting with Surreal hadn’t gone as smoothly as he maybe would have liked. But it was alright. He had reunited with his sister and wasn’t going to disappear yet again. The man had technically left the lands that Surreal was living in, but that was because he was still on a mission. Faite wasn’t home, as he had hoped, and he was going to make damned sure that changed. He hadn’t given up on. Somewhere out there Faite had to be alive. He was searching for the girl today, a gentle drizzle falling down upon his pale coat. It was cooler up here in the mountains, though not far up enough that snow would be an issue. Autumn would soon be upon them. The man would breathe in, testing the air as he combed over another new land in search of Faite. Searching for Faite in the rain was no easy task. It masked scents, keeping him more in the dark about any potential wolves in the area. He’d sigh, pressing on. Until he saw familiar coloring. Castiel would pause for a moment, taking a slow, steady breath. Could it be? Could it truly be Faite? He would hesitate, deciding to bark to get her attention. Oh please let it be his niece...

She was lost in Faite-land where everything revolved around her and she didn't hold a care in the world. She didn't even feel the rain as it accumulated on her fur and soaked down to her skin. She thought of nothing in particular. These lands were quite familiar to her now as she continued on her way. She stopped whenever it fancied her and just moved on when she felt like she'd sated her curiosity. It was almost as though she were on auto-pilot as she moved at her own pace trapped within the own recesses of her mind. The rain was no help to her senses as it dulled her nose. So absorbed was she in her thoughts that she barely heard the bark the called out to her. Ears flicked forward with interest as she suddenly snapped to her senses. Browns knit together in confusion as she stared upon the familiar pale figure. At first she thought it was her mind playing tricks on her. She flicked an ear backwards as she contemplated what she'd eaten that day. Had she managed to accidentally eat a plant she wasn't supposed to? Had she not gotten enough sleep? As she stood there and stared at him she finally came to the conclusion that he was indeed real and that this was no figment of her crazed imagination. A slow grin tugged at the corners of her lips and her tail moved on its own as it waved furiously back and forth. She'd spent so long searching that it hadn't occurred to her that someone might be searching for her. After so long of being on her own without her family here her uncle was standing her before her as though it was the most casual thing ever. What were the chances of someone finding her before she found them? "Uncle Cas!" She said beaming at the other wolf. It didn't take her long before she bounded over to him aiming a lick right towards his muzzle. Walk, "Talk" Think |
