She had gotten separated from Félicien after the siege. She let out a soft whine, missing her best friend and mate. She bounced on her paws for a moment before moving on towards the borders of Abaven. She figured he would be headed that way with the remaining former wolves of Threar, since most of them have relations there. She needed to find him, and figure out where she could go. She didn't know anyone except for any possible former Threar wolves within Abaven, and she trusted only Félicien for right now.
Stopping just outside the borders, the white and chocolate brown wolfess took a deep breath. She lifted her head back in a melodic howl. Not only was she calling for the leader of Abaven, but she was also calling for her beloved mate. She needed to finally find her place. She'd finally found it once more in Threar, only to have it ripped from her suddenly by a siege of wolves. Finishing her howl, she waiting a few minutes before letting out another howl. She wanted to make her intentions known. She wasn't here to fight, or harm anyone. She merely wished to either join, or find out information as to the location of her mate.
'Oh Féli... Where have you all gone? I miss you, my love.' She thought, shaking her head as she whined again softly, her ears flicking around as she listened for the sound of any approaching pawsteps. She needed to be on the alert, in case any other wolves decided to show up to the party.

Tac had been separated in the cross over, and frankly Félicien was worried about her. The two had only just recently became mates before Threar fell, and he was afraid that somewhere, in the chaos, her brother might have come and did something to her. Féli tried to be strong, to keep a brave face for the little ones despite his own problems. It was when he heard her call at the borders that Félicien found any sort of relief.
Asking Thalos, Arkay, and Farore to stay close to the den he would set off, immediately breaking into a run once he was clear of the den. He wanted, no, he needed to see her! His heart was pounding in his chest, hoping with all his heart that Tac had been safe.
Bi-colored gaze would soften with relief when he saw her. No wounds, no injuries. He would breathe out in relief as he slowed, not stopping until he was at Tac’s side. He would wrap his head around the back of her neck, giving a soft whine. “You worried me.” He would whisper softly to her.
She heard familiar pawsteps and looked to see her mate. "Féli!" She said, letting out a pleased rumble as he wrapped his head around her neck. "Oh my love! I missed you!" She said with a happy tone. She was happy to see the pale russet male. She had missed her mate so much in the short time they had been separated. She nuzzled him affectionately. "So I understand that Threar has fallen. I was out checking to make sure my brother wasn't in the area when it happened. Tell me what happened. Please." She said with a soft whine.
"My luck is that once I finally find a place where I belong, it is once again ripped out from underneath my paws." She said with a pup-like whine. She hated that Threar, her newest home, had fallen. It brought memories back of the fall of her birth pack. She scooted closer to him, snuggling into his fur. "Why do these things keep happening to me? Its almost like the world doesn't want me to be happy." She said quietly, looking at him with bi-colored eyes full of sadness and pain.
Her head dropped after she made her statement. She was happy with her mate, her Félicien. But she wanted more. She wanted to belong somewhere, make a permanent life for herself and her mate at some point. But would the world ever just let her be happy? Was the world punishing her for letting her brother harm her birth pack? She knew it wasn't her fault in the forefront of her mind, but her subconscious still wouldn't let her forgive herself for the pain brought onto her pack by her littermate and the former heir to her birth pack. She sighed, closing her eyes for a moment before looking back at her mate.

Félicien would breathe a soft sigh of relief as Tac spoke. “...and I missed you, my beloved.” The affectionate muzzle was well received. He had missed her touch, and despite being young, still learning what love was, he knew Tac was the one for him. The ache in his heart while she was missing was enough to clarify that. But Féli had a duty to Novella’s yougest litter to watch over them while their parents were gone, so he had not been able to look for Tac at all.
“Threar was challenged for, Tac. By a wolf named Sin. He took our home right from under our paws, hurt our leader bad. Her children are here with me in Abaven... Together... We’re seemingly all that remains of Threar.” His ears would lower further as he heard her words, and he would breathe softly, holding Tac close to his body.
“Don’t think like that, Tac. Things are gonna be okay. Times are hard, yes, but we’ll get through it together.” He promised. “Abaven is going to war against Hellstrom, and, should they win, they’re will be plenty of land for all of us to live comfortably.”
