Today, Anaeia found herself straying from the den she had been sticking to. Legs becoming cramped from laying in the same position almost every day, all day. Readjusting to this new place was a slow process, one that she did not much enjoy going through at the moment. Things were changing too fast, why couldn't people just slow down and stick to one spot? This would be the last time, being juggled around left a bad taste in the girl's mouth and she would be damned if this pack or her mother tried yanking her away.

By evening she had made it near the center of the plains, head held awkwardly high, in a position it has not been once before. Mismatched eyes of gold and blue were able to peer over the grasses like this, sweeping over the short rolling hills, watching for movement. The company of others was a bother, people feeling the need to chat away to ears that wished to be left alone. That's why the girl was heading towards the northern border, her sights set on a lonesome tree.

Scuttle, scuttle. Tall grass was another of Cesar’s favorite things. Once he had gotten over being upset that even grass was taller than he was, he found it wonderful for sneaking around in. Plus, it made a wonderful rustling noise. He could pretend to be a snake, or some other sneaky thing. He bet it was good for ambushes, and promptly decided that someday he would jump out and attack someone from this specific patch of grass. Not today though. Today he was having plenty of fun exploring and slinking about.

Up ahead he spotted a single tree and a single figure on the other side of the tree, heading his way, or maybe towards the tree. Ooh. Maybe he did want to jump someone today. Stalking would be fun… A crooked grin etched across his face, and he licked his lips idly while falling into a crouch. He’d head in the direction of the trekking wolf before getting close enough that he might be able to see them. And, although he had seen it before, he brimmed with interest and surprise when he managed to notice their eyes. Two colors! No way! He lifted his head up and tossed the idea of stealth. ”Heeeeeyyy!” he called – not sounding to be greeting, but rather, sounding almost accusatory.

*Cesar's antics can quickly turn from innocent to hostile.
