Take it easy

This place wasn't her ideal place to be bathing, so she had skipped that notion. Finding a place with red clay wasn't that hard, seeing as her feathers were already tainted with the stuff. The bird had stopped to take a drink as she dug her beak into it and let her tongue coax the liquid in. The water was so cool and refreshing that it made her throat make a small squeak in delight. Nothing better than water, once she had drunk from an old human can and it was gross whatever had been in there. Her cyan eyes blinked as she looked across the new area. Exploring always was her fortei, and since she needed to get a scope of where she could live it was always nice to land and take up her rounds.

As she dipped her claws into one of the streams, she tried to keep an eye on her surroundings. A birds favorite weapon was their eyes and wings after all. There would be no arguing that she could see miles away when in the sky. Maybe that was why she was so good at scouting. Damn Flamie your good! She silently thought to herself as she hummed rather happily.
