The boy took in a deep breath, letting his lung fill up with air. It was weird standing so close to the borders of the outsides of the territory. His tail curling around his haunches, he couldn't stop thinking about that talk he had with Avalon. Now even though he was so young, he was having some sense of doubt in his head. Rivaxorus probably should have turned to his sister for some sort of help on the issue. The autumn air was great, but his heart sort of missed the north even if the dangers present there still existed.

He flopped down onto the grass, nose scenting the ground. The rains last night had done something weird. Momma told him soon the winter would bring snow, like in the north. So here it wasn't white all the time. Beautiful still. He breathed, soon enough he would have to make his own path, but he wasn't sure how to go about that. Even if Riv tried, things didn't always go in his favor.
