Shaye spent a lot of her time outside of Abaven gathering herbs. Her collection had grown vast and her skills at preserving things correctly was certainly improving. The problem was, no one in Abaven seemed to hurt themselves or if they did they found other healers to go to. She missed actual application and was afraid of getting rusty. She did wonder how she might advertise herself as a skilled healer, someone others could go to in need. She had been the first on the scene to deal with Lillie's wounds and well she had been nervous she knew she had done a good job. She thought back over the actions she had taken and herbs she had used, and knew where she could work on her skills but also that Lillie had been in good hands.

She sighed as her paws walked without direction beside the monument rapids. She supposed it wasn't ethical to wish for an injured wolf. It wasn't like she wanted someone to hurt themselves, it more that she just wanted to help someone who already had.

Ow ow ow, shit.

Bass growled as he eyed the thorn in his paw, not able to lock his teeth around the tiny barb. It stung, and hurt really bad. Shaking his paw back and froth angrily he held it off the ground, not wanting to put it down and put too much pressure on it. Goodness forbid that he allowed the stupid thorn to go in any deeper. He huffed, golden eyes glaring down at his injured paw. It was then that he saw Shaye headed towards him, and let out a sharp bark to tey and grab her attention. He was slightly sheepish, his ears pinned back slightly as his cheeks burned under his pale cheeks. "Hey Shaye? I could use a bit of help..." he admitted, clearing his throat as his gaze turned away from his niece.
