Natalia has wandered into the lands of Northern Alacritia. - A translation for any Russian words can be found by hovering over them.

She had been in a tired and dazed state when she wandered, something she probably shouldn’t have done, seeing as she had no idea where she was and couldn’t find the scent of any of the other Diamachi around, meaning she wasn’t in the southern lands anymore. She had to find her way back! That much was evident. Her emerald eyes closely analyzed her surroundings, a grand river flowing through territories, cutting through the hardest of rock and the softest of soil alike. It didn’t smell like a pack, or what she could remember a pack sounding like, so she figured she was safe from having to deal with the pesky term of ‘trespassing’.

Still, it unnerved her because she had known the danger for so long, and her beliefs… no, she had to find her way back to the southern lands before someone found her, and she was sure that eventually her family would notice the disappearance. With eyes alert she began to try and find her way south, relying on the stars in the sky as she carefully planned her route based on the constellations she could see in the skies above, albeit the cloudy night was making the task difficult.

It was a late night for the ebony she-wolf. Normally she'd have found somewhere to den up before the sun fell beyond the horizon, but there were few places to find cover along the Rio Grande. At least, not anywhere close enough to the water's edge; the scent of spawn-ready fish was too captivating to leave the river's banks. And then there was the concern of other predators nearby to compete for the abundant fish supply when other sources of prey were more scarce. So on this nearly starless night, Esarosa would fight off sleep and continue traveling.

Paws trampling over frosty earth, the young woman spotted a figure in the dark night, almost as dark as herself, but she seemed to stand out in the moonlight. Wait, moonlight? Esa cast her gaze upward for a moment, realizing that the moon was indeed covered by cloud. Glancing back to the figure, she realized that she was looking at a wolf with very unique markings that stood out even in the night, becoming particularly noticeable when a gap in the clouds allowed the starlight to shine down.

Curious, and maybe a little bit nervous, Esarosa made her way slowly toward the wolf, noting that the other woman seemed to be searching for something. For what, she couldn't be sure. Maybe she could help. She cleared her throat as she got a little bit closer, not wanting to startle the fae, who seemed to be in her own thoughts. "Uhm... hello?" she called out softly at first, hoping to get her attention; then added more clearly, "Good evening. Are you looking for someone? Would I be able to help you, maybe?" Perhaps there was nothing she could do at all, perhaps the woman wasn't looking for anything in particular, but it was worth a try.
