The air was cool, but the sun was warm on her mostly dark fur as she lay curled up among the roots of a tree, the river bubbling several feet away from her. She had awoken early that morning and had spent most of her morning searching for any herbs or plants she wasn't familiar with so she could begin sorting through them and figuring them out. So far she had only found one that she had not seen at least once on her travels around the lands back home. She had carefully picked a small branch of the red berries and it was now sitting next to her as she napped. Her next mission would be to find someone that knew what this was and could instruct her on its usage.

Her green gaze blinked open after a while and she sleepily glanced around her quiet surroundings. She pulled herself up onto her paws with a soft groan, stretching and shaking out her gold-marked coat to free it of any dust and grass. Just as she was yawning and beginning to decide what direction she would head in next, she caught a familiar scent and her gold-marked ears stood up with interest and surprise. Her emerald gaze quickly searched for the source of it, her tail wagging slowly behind her. Oria was almost positive she wasn't imagining it, but who knew, one of the herbs she had been searching though earlier could be messing with her brain.

The little seer had known Oria had left, along with Gwen. What she hadn't known was that Oria had decided to go in the exact same direction as Ayla's annoying half brother. So when the very familiar scent of the healer had crossed her senses, she had almost frozen in delight. Of all the wolves, she and Oria had had some sort of a good relationship. Not that Ayla got hurt often, but in the moments when she needed a gentle touch, she would go to the gold marked wolf. It always made her smile when she saw the swirls on the black female, it was like a kinship she wanted. A sibling, perhaps... She had always wanted, always longed for the feeling of family and true kinship, but she had always been nervous, unsure on how to go about that. But either way...

With a bright smile she'd turn, trotting up towards the familiar female. "My my, I was not expecting to see you here." She called, seeing the happy expression on her packmate's face, knowing she had known she was coming. "Is it really effective if we are all searching the same place?" She said with a happy giggle, her eyes closing in her delicate smile. "But it's oh so lovely to see such a pretty face, instead of seeing Gwen's silly frown all the time." She would move, without invitation, to lay near Oria and tilt her head to her. "How long have you been here, friend?" She asked softly, her voice gentle and sweet as she reguarded the woman.

Oria had been surprised to see Gwen here, but not too terribly since she had known he was leaving their homelands as well. For a different reason than herself of course, but they had both set out around the same time none of the less. However, when she saw Ayla's violet and gold form trotting toward her she was absolutely surprised, but it was a pleasant surprise for sure. She had always been fond of Ayla, though she didn't really know of many wolves that weren't fond of her at least a little bit. Oria certainly enjoyed her presence more than she did most wolves though so she was very happy to see her friend coming toward her. Oria laughed lightly and nodded in agreement, saying, "I certainly wasn't expecting to see you either! I'm very glad to see you though!" To her comment about searching in the same place Oria giggled softly as well and shrugged. "We should have known better than to think we'd be apart for too long."

Oria chuckled at Ayla's comment about Gwen, knowing the two of them never quite saw eye to eye. Oria appriciated both of them tremendously and enjoyed both of their company, but trying to do anything with the both of them was a struggle. Oria was happy to settle back down onto her stomach next to Ayla and hummed quietly in thought while she considered Ayla's question. "Not too long really," she replied, her head tipping to the side as well. "I made a little trip through the area around our pack before I left so I'm sure Gwen has been here longer than I have, but I've been here long enough to find a herb I haven't seen before!" She smiled and motioned to the sprig of red berries she found before with her forepaw. "I'll have to find someone from this area to tell me what it is and what it does. It's exciting to know there really is more information to be had out here though!" She giggled lightly and smiled at her friend. "How about you? How long have you been here?"

Ayla got happily comfy where she laid, her tail curling gently around one outstretched hind leg. She crossed her front paws elegantly, sitting as if she were a princess, regal and proud. A delicate smile would play across her lips as she heard Oria's happy laughter. This is what she enjoyed. Happiness, some good emotion. Something other than butting heads with her half brother all the time. Though technically she enjoyed that too. It allowed her to sharpen her silver tongue, to work her brain. To try and knock him down a notch. Her ear flicked slightly, feeling the delicate petals of the rose he'd given her. Longing for a kinship that didn't involve angry words or his sneers tugged at her chest but she quickly pushed that to the back of her mind when she heard her friend speaking.

"Well as a Seer I believe it's my sworn duty to help lead our people to a fruitful land." She said with a gentle smile. "Besides, I think it's a good idea to go on a journey from time to time. Learn things you wouldn't learn otherwise. Feel the touch of the gods in another placeā€¦" She mused, shifting to rub one paw against the earth in thought. Oria spoke of her journey and how Gwen must have been here longer and she hummed in understanding. At the talk of herbs shed glance to look at the plant, tilting her heads. "We should find you a teacher!" She said, delight filling her singing tones. "A mentor, so you may become an expert in what these new lands have to offer us. That seems fitting. Yes, we should do that!" She was happy as she lifted herself back onto her paws, glancing around as if she would find the perfect someone around the next tree trunk.
