She had done it. She had gone through pregnancy and the painful yet rewarding journey of it all. She was a parent. A mother. Her and Newol had done it, and now they had a common road to walk together and would endure the life of parenthood. It was a feeling that filled her with happiness. She would leave the den for a short time, Newol watching over the babies as she left the den to stretch her legs. Now, she needed to regain her form and hopefully get back to her duties once her maternity leave was done, but it would be a while yet.
She sought out the nearby waterhole for a drink and a bit of quiet. And as she thought about the road ahead, she wasn't entirely sure what to expect. How did arian and Cypress do it? How did her own parents manage? It was a question left unanswered for now. But she was happy for the first time in a long time, a happiness that could not be stripped from her, she hoped anyway. Leaning down to drink, she let her mind wander to things she might expect in the future.

He was on the patrol, a protective surge within his gut. Eponine was slowly getting better, bless her heart, and soon it would be four out of his five pups out and about. Not to mention Avalon had just had a litter of her own. He felt not only the urge to protect Sonticus, but also to seek out Sin. Hellstrom... From what he knew of the place they had once shared close proximity when they were in the west. He would find that man, he swore, and take him down.
But for now it was more a moment of peace. Of routine. He’d find himself humming softly as he padded along, not particularly searching for anyone, but rather letting his gaze roam to see what he might find. Squirrels, here and there, were noticed running through the trees. Birds singing. Insects buzzing. It was... Almost blissful. But he knew, as long as the white devil lived, that there would be no true peace for Sonticus. That... And Imperium.
The man would give pause, noting a familiar face. Ahhh, so Avalon had escaped the den and her young ones to come out and get a drink, hmm? The brute would cross over to her, sitting by her side as he looked down into the water. He’d smile, voice soft as he spoke. “How are you enjoying parenthood? You had five little ones as well, right?”
