She had always had a bit of a wandering soul, but more so she held a vindictive attitude. She had vanished without a trace, without a single word to her family. Was that unlike her? Perhaps. But so much had changed, and she didn't feel like the family was as close as it had once been. Everyone was growing old and making families of their own, something that Serefina felt like she would never do. She loved too hard and too eagerly to truly settle down, at least in her mind. The thing that killed her most was seeing her twin, her dearest Voltage, love someone beside her. Yes it was very selfish, she knew that. She knew that it was crazy to think that because he had a family that he would love her less, but it was her burning jealously that sent her away.

Until now.

She had heard Voltages cry, something that would have woken her up from death. The sorrow in his voice was not missed and carried far across the lands. It was something that even in her anger, even in her hate and sadness, she could not ignore that. She had not heard Voltage sound that broken since he had to leave her on the island, the day her life flipped upside down. The fiery dame could not leave him like that, she was his other half, no matter how much he cared for that Gaia and his kids. She needed to be there, she just had to. And so as soon as that call sounded, she left her travels and came back home.

To him. Only for him.

Serefina let out a breath when her toes touched the familiar lands. She skirted away from pack lands, not wanting to just waltz in after her time away. She needed space, and to just see Volt. Sere didn't want anyone else right now, her chest tight as she heading close to the beach, careful not to stray too close. While her family seemed to brag about being close, she never really felt it. She loved her siblings, but she wasn't like them. She wasn't calm and collected, Sere was a firecracker and left paths of flames wherever she went. She was always the hot headed one, who often burnt her family when she didn't mean to. So staying away right now was best. But Volt, she needed Volt. Not wanting to alert everyone else she was here, Serefina decided not to howl. He would feel her, she knew it. Her brother would know that she was home.

She was back, baby. Watch out.

Live...stay alive. Just live. When had that become so hard? When did that become so goddamn difficult? He could barely breathe at times his chest was so tight from grief. He could barely move, just wanted to lay on the beach forever, for all of eternity, until she found her way back to him. His paws ached from how much he searched, rubbed raw and bleeding at the beginning. He could barely eat, it was rare for him too. He had seen his little girl get eaten by the ocean, heart mind body and soul. And, it seemed, Current had only been spared the physical fate of Illume. But then again, he would probably be driven to madness without Glacier at his side. He was damn near without Serefina.

He was sitting on his rock, staring at the endless rocking of the waves.  He was doing better today, if only just for show. He didn't want Astrea to come back and spew her "knowledge" about grief and dispair and how, after a mere few weeks, he should be strong and "live" and be over it by now. It hurt how little she seemed to care about the despair he felt. Perhaps he was being selfish just laying around, but his world had ended. He couldn't do anything more.

The family would do just fine without him.

He breathed a soft sigh and stared out at the horizon, thinking of Sol and how he had given Voltage his blessing to grief, but to stick around the family. And he thought of Glacier, and how much he had done for voltage. And still does. He would be far worse off if it hadn't been for Glacier.

Voltage had always felt things so strongly. Felt everything, every little bit, with all of his heart. And this...this was no exception. He felt terrible, he felt like everything had ended. Like he himself had ended. Had it really only been a few weeks? It felt...it felt like all of eternity.

Voltage sighed softly, closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath of the ocean air before he stopped. He paused, eyes opening wide as he stared at the waves. Was that...He slowly turned his head in the direction the scent was coming from, his heart stopping.

"S-sere" He breathed in a broken voice, slowly getting off of his rock. His legs shook, his body weak, but he moved towards her unthinking. He moved mindlessly, as if he was drawn to her by an invisible thread. But then again, hadn't it always been this way? The second his tired, distant stormy eyes fell on her he felt tears fill them, slipping down his cheek without a thought. He was so weak now. Stress, lack of sleep and lack of food had taken its toll. He could almost feel his skin hanging from his muscles in places. He could barely lift his paws but he didn't stop, stepping towards her. Her name on his tongue, like a chant, over and over and over again.

Serefina...

They had always been connected, the two of them. No matter what happened or what they seemed to get themselves in to, they could feel it, taste it almost. So she knew that he was on his way, his scent dancing across the wind to her nose. Her heart hammered in her chest with worry and regret, with fear of seeing a rare lashing of his anger towards her. But as soon as her brimstone eyes saw his form, she nearly retched. Something dire had to have happened, because Voltage looked... well he looked like shit. She was so shocked that all she could do was sit there and watch him come closer to her, eyes wide and hackles risen along her fiery back. And that is when the all consuming guilt seemed to crash in on her, threatening to pull her under. She should have been here, she should have been here to stop all of this. Sere should have... Letting out a gasp she curled her form around him as he neared, feeling as well as seeing the tears that fell onto her shoulder. "Oh Volt, my Voltage..." she whispered, the bolt on her shoulder seeming to sear red hot as she watched her dear brother fall apart. "I should have never left, it was selfish of me... I thought... I thought..." She cut off, shaking her head and digging her nose further into his golden fur. "Never mind, tell me what happened. Tell me what did this to you." The woman whispered, pushing herself further and further into Voltage. All she wanted to do was hold him close and never let him go, to wash away the pain that was sitting so close to the surface.

They both felt things to the extreme, it was how they always had been. So she knew what he must be feeling like, even though she had no idea what had actually happened. It was all guilt, pushing her down, trying to crush her, when all she wanted to do was take away this pain. He looked like he hadn't eaten in weeks, and probably hadn't slept in an even longer time. He was a shell of the man she had left on the beach, and Serefina should have known that this would happen if she left. They were always so close, closer she thought than any other sibling in their family. So why, why oh why had she run off like that? It wasn't like it was the first time, when she needed space she just took it, a mile a minute if she could. But this was certainly the longest she had been gone, she couldn't even recall exactly when she had left. She could have been back sooner if it wasn't for this grudge she was holding, if it wasn't for all those theories that she kept feeding herself. "I'm here now, I'm here. I won't leave you again." She whispered, and instantly regretted her words. Hadn't she said that last time, and then she got up and left again anyways? Cursing herself silently as her ears pressed against her skull, she pulled back to try and meet his dulling eyes. "You must tell me what happened." Her voice held a soft demand, her body still as she took in a deep breath. She knew that the news wouldn't be good, she had never seen Voltage like this. Not even when he found their parents dead, this was far worse.

Voltage could just...collapse in her arms. He really felt he could as she wrapped around him, warming the ice that had creapt into his veins. He felt so weak, and he broke down like he really hadn't been able too. He had been grieving in almost silence, unable to stop the tears but not breaking so fully. He sobbed into her fur, clinging to her as her soft voice carried over him. It was a blessing, the universe had answered his prayers. His fire was back, and he needed her more than he realized. He needed her warmth, needed her care.

No one, minus Glacier, really understood him as well as Serefina.

He cried into her fur, sobbed and broke. She asked what happened but oh, how could he begin? How could he properly explain. She apologized for being gone and he just shook his head. "I was never mad..." He whispered softly, his voice broken but he hugged her even harder. "I just missed you. So much." His family was his element, and when one was gone he felt as if a large part of him had left as well.

It was more true now than it had ever been. "She's gone..." He breathed, his voice catching in his throat. "Illie, my little girl. She was washed away by the ocean weeks ago...I've been searching endlessly. She's gone, Sere...I cannot find her..." He sobbed into her fur, his head tilting down to hide his eyes, his face, his brokenness from her. He was weak, Astrea was right. So weak

She just let him cry, not caring that he was sobbing endlessly into her fur. That is what she was here for, it had always been this way. They had seen each other at their best, and helped each other through their worst. Was that not what family was for? She felt that a lot of her siblings lacked that, lacked the understanding that she held towards Voltage. That, and the ability to roam freely without her family and not feel so lost. She had missed him, that was for sure. With all her heart she had longed to be beside Voltage again, but honestly, he was really the only one. Their other siblings all had their own little groups within each other, but none were like her and Voltage. Even though they were not litter mates, she had always felt a bond with him that could never be severed. She didn't feel like that towards Glacier, just him. It was always him. So Serefina didn't have a problem to just let him cry, her ears flat against her skull as her well muscled body shifted slightly as she adjusted to his weight. She loved him so much, and wanted to stop this hurt. It was obvious that it was bad, but what she didn't understand is why he was still so broken over it. Had no one been here to allow him to speak his mind, or to even just let it out? She remembered when they were little how they would just scream into the sky when something didn't go their way, because bottling it up wasn't good. But she could tell that he had been keeping it locked away, which made her eyes simmer with anger as they narrowed, a low growl leaving her throat. She didn't care if Voltage heard, so be it. "And where is everyone else in this?" She asked, spitting out the words even though she didn't even know why he was upset. Had they told him to just move on? Voltage?! Really, they should know him better by now. But no, only she seemed to truly get their family tied brother.

He shook his head when she said that she was sorry, saying that he wasn't angry. Well, that took a bit of pressure off. If it had been the other way around she would be pissed, but... maybe after seeing him after all that time would change it. Like it had now. Even though it did nothing to ease her guilt, it was at least something. "Oh Volt I missed you too. I am so sorry, so sorry I wasn't here for this. I should have been." Apparently everyone else was lacking. He shouldn't be this broken, this underfed. Glacier should be forcing rabbits down his throat if he refused to eat. Huffing, she was about to ask what had happened again until finally her electric brother was able to make heads and tails of his emotions, at least enough to speak. And when he did she felt her jaw drop, anger flaring up to take the place of sorrow. Really, where had they all been? "We will find her, Voltage. I am here now, I will help you. I will walk to the ends of the earth for you, and you know it." For him. She knew that Current and Illume were his kids, but she had no connection to them, nothing but Voltage. She had only seen them once, looking at them before she vanished from their lives. She doubted that they would even know who she was. But Volt, oh her Volt. She needed to save him, needed to stop this hurt. "We can leave now, go look somewhere you haven't. Have you been to all the packs? Maybe someone picked her up somewhere and she has been staying with them. Getting better, healing." Sere suggested, leaning down to lick at the salty tears that pressed his fur to his face. Anything for him.

He felt so weak where she was strong. But she always had been strong, ever since she were a child. They were two sides of the same coin, they shared their weaknesses and their strengths. But now, at this moment, she was so much more strong. It almost made him pine for the days where she would ride on his back, no matter how short those days were. He missed being her strong being brother, but sometimes you just...break. The sobs were calming down, his breathes coming in sudden rushes to fill his burning lungs. He didn't cry as hard, but his eyes wouldn't dry fully, not yet.

He felt her anger and he welcomed it with open arms, feeling the heat light his soul to life, even just a little bit. "They've been...helping, in their own way..." He said softly, looking down at the sand. His throat hurt, his lungs burned, and oh...He was weak. "Theres so much you missed.." He breathed into her fur. She had, and every day he had spent his evening wish praying she would come home. He had needed her, like he had never needed anyone else. There was something different about them, their relationship, that could not be compared to anyone else. He and Glacier were insepersble, but he and serefina were the same exact breed.

In that moment he understood Solaris' loss with Seli missing in action.

He could feel her fire licking at his paws, at his ankles and his chest, and he just sighed. "The second she was washed away we searched. Glacier and I at first, looking through the ocean as best as we could but...she...she was swept by a current...and, then Gale and Locha helped. We ran for 12 hours straight, Glace and I in one direction and Locha and Gale in another. We searched, up and down for her. Glacier went to our friends and allies. Weeks, Sere...and not...not even a scent, a hair...a body..." He was weak, he was pathetic. Was he giving up? No, he wasn't. He still went out and searched. Still moved to find his daughter, but he was wasting away fast...

"Astrea said....I was acting like our parents...because I've "given up". I can't move off the beach some days. There's times I'll just...lay there, and stare, hoping she'll come out of the water." What else could he do. "Ive never been so still before. It's so....so quiet with her gone, Sere. I never liked the quiet." His voice grew tight, breaking at the end as the tears filled his eyes once more.

Little by little his sobs started to calm, until they slowed to a near stop. There was still tears trickling down his face, but her tongue made quick work of them. Serefina hummed softly, nuzzling his cheeks, behinds his ears, and placing a few loving nips on his jawline. Her lips quivered slightly as she pulled back, fighting a snarl when he spoke of them helping in their own way. Bullshit. This didn't look like help, not at all. A brow rose as she pulled back and tried to meet Voltage's gaze, her burning anger so vivid. "This doesn't look like help, Voltage. Did they allow you to grieve? Did they help you out? You're as skinny as can be Volt, that's not fucking helping!" She snarled, the strength of her fire growing. Her claws bit into the ground as she stared at him with her hard gaze, tail lashing behind her like an angered cat. "It looks like they just left you to rot. They don't know you like I do. I should have been here to shove food down your throat and make sure you are sleeping. You look like shit, brother, honestly. And where the hell was our family through all of this?" she asked in anger, before she blinked rapidly, taking a small step back. As soon as it flared up her anger seemed to die away, ears once more pressing to her black head. "I should have been here..." But she wasn't, was she? Still, she expected the others to at least look after their sensitive brother! But nothing, this was nothing. And where were they now? Their depressed brother left pack lands and not a single wolf even showed up to make sure that he was okay, or to offer him aide if he was off to search. Close family her ass.

He told her that she had missed so much, and the weight of the grief pushed down on her again. " I know, I am so sorry. I should have never left, I realize that now. I left for my selfish reasons, I needed to... work things out I guess. I felt like I was losing you, like you were replacing me with others." Serefina said, raising her paw as soon as the words left her mouth to stop his protests. Because she knew that he would fight it, but she needed to finish. "I was jealous of others getting to see the side of you that I claimed as my own. I was selfish, and wanted you all to myself. Seeing everyone find their special someone just... made me realize that I will probably die an old maid. I have too much fire to be tied down and tamed, you know this. But never before did I think that I... that I actually wanted that. A family of my own. And you Volt, you were so happy. I had never seen you like that, and I had never been able to make you feel that way. I guess it was just a huge mix of things all at once and when the pups came I just... I just couldn't." Serefina said with a sigh, putting her paw back down on the earth. "So I left, looking for what you had I guess. Or just needing to get away from all the mushy stuff." The woman knew that this wasn't about her, that it was about Voltage right now, but he deserved an explanation, the reason why she just got up and left. She had missed so much, and probably hurt him more than she realized. "But... I heard your howl. I guess that was on the day you lost her, or maybe soon after when you were looking for her. It broke my heart, and I knew that I had to come back. That I was foolish for ever having taken off. But I am here now, for you Voltage. I would do anything for you."

Her ears pulled forward when her brother went on to explain what had been done so far, her head nodding along with his words. "Perhaps its time to go to the packs that you are not allied with. I am sure they will answer a simple question if she has been found. If you like I could do it, I don't smell like Dono anymore and they would have no reason to turn me away. You boys never really did reach out to all the packs out there, so I doubt that they were all asked. Its... a start, right?" She asked hopefully. Sere knew that for as long as Voltage didn't know where Illume was, that he would stay this way. Skinny and miserable. "If you haven't found a body then I say that's a good thing. It means she's still out there. Can't you feel her, Volt? Can't you feel her energy?" She asked, taking a step forward to nuzzle into his coat. "We will find her, don't you worry. And you are allowed to grieve, as much as you want. But be sure to be there for Current, I am sure that she feels just as badly as you. You need to start taking better care of yourself, you here me? Gaia and Current need you more now than ever. It doesn't mean you have to be strong all the time, but you can't let yourself wither away from them. Got it?" She said with a firm nod. She wasn't above literally shoving food down his throat and knocking him out if he needed to sleep, and he should know that.

When her electric brother moved on to share what Astrea had said, her rage came back with a vengeance. She let out a deep throated growl, her teeth gnashing together. "You are nothing like our parents! How dare that little wench say something like that!" she roared, the desire to bite into her stupid star dusted tail making her salivate. Jaws opened and snapped shut as if she was going just that, her whole body ridged. "You will ever give up like they did, and you didn't send her away! You are allowed to feel pain, to feel loss. You're not a damn unemotional prick! You feel things stronger than any of them do, just like me. They don't understand, but oh do I ever want to make her. Or to at least feel the amount of pain that you are going through." she hissed. If she saw Astrea now there would be no stopping her, she would bite that girl and make her apologize for what she said. No one knew the pain that their parents caused like Voltage did, something that they all should know. They didn't have to see what he saw, what he found. He made damn well sure of it that nothing could be found if they went to check, their bodies had been buried. She knew that, she had gone there to see their old home. Serefina couldn't help but look for their graves, and just sat there and stared at them. Hoping she would feel something, but she didn't. She stopped caring for her parents the day that they had sent Voltage away. While she hadn't believed their deaths at first, now she just... didn't care. It was their fault that she had missed all those years with Voltage at her side. She would never forgive them for that.

Realizing that Voltage was getting upset again, she tried to control her inner rage by taking a few deep breaths. She stretched forward and nuzzled him stiffly, seeing the tears well up in his eyes again. But she was here now, she was back. She would beat anyone up who dared to compare Voltage -- or anyone -- to their parents. The youngest litter didn't understand like the older ones, and they probably never would. But to have the guts to do that, oh damn it pissed her off to no end.

Voltage would sigh heavily as she nuzzled him, feeling the heaviness almost lift for a millisecond. Oh he had missed her. With all his heart, all his soul, he had missed her. A shakey breath would shudder through him as he tried to compose himself amongst the waves of his ocean and the warmth of her anger. Others wouldn't understand why he took comfort in her fire, not really. Why feel ease when you're sibling is upset? Especially one so precious? Well, they didn't understand Serefina like he did. Her anger was perpetual, was the very fire of her soul, and he knew the levels of her rage. It was care, it was concern but, like Serefina herself, it came with a bite. She was the only one that could reel him in, the only one that could match his energy and his passion. He was lost without her flame, he always would be without her there. "I dont know if you remember, but I'm pretty stubborn" He whispered with a weak smile, attempting a joke. "Glace has been spending a great deal of time with me. But I can't sleep. The second I close my eyes, all i see is her, in that water...I can't eat, I feel so sick after." where was their family? Well. "Terrae has been busy with his studies. Seli left again, somewhere and Sol has been grieving her. Arcus left the pack ages ago now...." He looked down. The rest...well, he wasn't sure.

He stared down at his paws before lifting his gaze as she began to explain why she hadn't been here. He wanted to stop her, let her know he didn't care, but it seemed to be something she needed to say, so he closed his jaws and waited. Listening. He would smile softly, lovingly as she spoke before he averted his eyes. Ah, his little sister was growing up. "You would be impossible to replace" He said softly then, looking away. A frown would find his lips again as she spoke of why she had come back. He nodded slowly then but just sighed. "I've missed you..." He whispered softly.

She said she wouldn't leave again, and he couldn't help the fond smile that crossed his lips. He loved her so, so much. With a sigh he'd lean forward to nuzzle her, sighing softly. "No please...please dont leave yet. I think...I think I can get some sleep if you're there." Nothing on Glacier, who was his partner against the world. They had always faced so much turmoil, so much hardship that sometimes volt would automatically move into that mind frame. But with Sere, she had always been there when times were good, and it was a comfort being at her side. "Glace has been out looking. Once I get some rest we can figure out a game plan." He whispered.

His throat grew tight as she spoke of Illie's energy, and asked if he could feel it. He merely shook his head slowly, his face scrunching up just a bit to keep himself in check. No, no he couldn't feel her....and that's was scared him most.

She told him to be strong for his family and he nodded absently. He had heard that often, but maybe he was just tired of being strong for his family. He had always put himself second to his family, but he hurt so terribly. His worry, his fear. He felt a fraction of himself and that fraction just wanted to lay on the beach. But he knew she was right...he had to be there, for his Gaia and his daughter. The thought of Current made him sigh. "Illie was washed away because she was protecting Current. Current had fallen into the ocean and sank like a rock and illume jumped in and grabbed her...when she got Current back onto the rock, that was when the ocean stole her from us..." He was looking down now. "Current blames herself. She belives she's a monster, and she's a shell of herself. I dont know how to help her, she refuses my embrace...she won't let me help her...it feels like I've lost both of my baby girls.." He whispered in a pinched breath.

But when it moved on to Astrea, it was like the world had caught fire. He watched her with wider eyes, his ears falling back. "Dont call her that..." He said softly, looking down. He had been mad at Astrea that day as well. "I guess...that I should count our blessings. That she doesn't understand this pain." He whispered. "Itd be awful if everyone felt the way that I do. If everyone understood..." He offered a weak smile then. "Glacier and I did our job with the youngest litter then. It's a good thing, in a way...."

He made a comment about him being stubborn and she snorted, her head shaking back and forth. Of course she didn't forget that he was stubborn, they often clashed that way. Both of them were very stubborn and even more so set in their ways, so when they disagreed on something they often fought it to the bitter end. "How could I ever forget?" she rumbled. But there was always ways around his stubborn nature, like being equally as stubborn, or just really convincing. Sere was glad to see that he was trying to smile, even if it failed miserably. It was something, an attempt. She was trying her best to warm him with her fire, like she always did, he was often getting burned by it and was used to the lapping of her flames. But it was what made him alive, right? What brought his own bright energy to the surface. His energy, his endless energy. Her ears flickered as he went on to explain that Glacier had been with him most of the time, and her head nodded stiffly. Of course he had been there physically, but there was a difference between being there and really, emotionally being there for the other. Being a shoulder to cry on, a word of good advice, or just a cuddle buddy. It wasn't enough to just physically be by someones side, especially not with Voltage. He needed more than just a sea of bodies around him. Her head lowered as a shuttering sigh left her lips when he spoke of the dreams, he was always such a vivid dreamer. Letting a whine slip free from her maw she stepped forward and nuzzled into his cheek, nibbling softly at his face to try and bring that tiny smile back. He couldn't sleep, couldn't eat. But there had to be something that she could do, anything. She could quite literally shove a paw down his throat and hold down his mouth until his body took it. But that was Serefina, she always did things to the extreme. Words of the family being gone made her flinch away from him slightly, it would seem that she wasn't the only one to wander away. Everyone was grieving someone who had left, and she was to blame for that. "I am so sorry Volt... I really am." she whined.

Serefina was glad that she had put up her paw to stop Volt from speaking, she saw his mouth open and then snap back closed. He always wanted to argue her points when she was being stubborn and going a bit overboard, but she really did need to get the whole thing off her chest. He needed to know why she left, if not for himself than for her to feel better about all of it. It was odd to hear it out loud, after ranting for so long in her head it was really the first time that it had come out. And she heard it. She heard how silly she was being, but... that was that. It was over and done with now, and there was no stopping it. Hell she had even come back in the dead of winter, right before she was about to find a nice den to sleep the season away. But Sere knew that Voltage needed her, she could feel it in her very soul. They had always been like that, as if they were one in the same. But there was a bit of a smile back on his face, and the tip of her tail swung slightly as she returned his grin. He told her that she would never be able to be replaced, and the woman nodded her fiery head slightly. She knew that, she did. She knew how crazy she was being but that was just who she was. Always over thinking, or not thinking at all. Acting on passion and flames, burning everything in her path before she was able to assess the damage she had done, or further damage she could still do. He whispered that he had missed her time and time again, and she pushed herself into her older brother and nuzzled into his soft fur. "I know Volt, I know. I was foolish, I can see that now. But I'm here now."

She talked about going and searching but Voltage closed the gap between them once more, telling her to not leave. It was too soon after she had gotten back, she didn't blame him for not wanting to watch her disappear again. "Well you know how much I hate to travel in the snow." She said with a soft laugh, kicking at the fluffy substance at her paws. She had hardly noticed it on her way here, or since she had seen Voltage. She had been so excited and so wrapped up in everything that it didn't cross her mind, until now. The cold was seeping into her bones and her paws were all wet. She shivered slightly, but it was mostly in disgust than anything else. He had said that he thought that he could sleep with her there, and she eagerly nodded her head. Anything to get out of the weather. "Should we head over to the storm proof den then? Chase out any pesky critters who think that they can claim our den?" Sere asked, her red tail flicking over to swat at his shoulder. She was getting tired of all this sad crap, she wanted to see some of that electricity back in his eyes. They were so dull, it broke her heart to see him this way. He just needed to rest, and then they could go out. She agreed to that, she had ran pretty far to get here so fast that she wouldn't mind taking a little nap herself. To be curled up with him again sounded magical.

When Sere saw him shake his head when she asked about Illume's energy, and she decided to drop the subject. There was no need to push this any further, to wrangle any more questions out of him. He had probably had enough of it by this point. He went on to speak about Current and her ears fell back against her skull. Mmm. "I might not have been the best aunt so far, but I can try and talk with her." She offered, a slight grumble in her voice. She wasn't sure how well it would go, and honestly was a bit afraid that she would make it worse. "I mean... I could take her out hunting or something. Or teach her how to fight?" she offered, more of a spark burning in her eyes at the thought of fighting again. It had been awhile since she had tested her luck against another wolf, and she was more than willing to stretch her muscles and get moving again. Besides, she couldn't really offer much more than that. Serefina wasn't really good at anything else. "Maybe a trip to the volcano, its been awhile since I have felt the warm rocks." Serefina hummed, her tail swishing behind her thoughtfully. Maybe it would take a bit of weight off of Volt as well, give him a bit of a break from worrying about his remaining daughter. After all, he already felt like he lost both of them. She wanted to do all she could for him, for her dearest Voltage.

And then it all changed when he brought up Astrea, and even when he got upset over her burning anger she didn't care. Stepping away from Voltage she began to pace in front of him, growls and curses leaving her maw as she fought to regain control. He told her not to call her that and she just snorted, kicking at the snow as she made a line in the slushy mud, not being able to stop her pacing. She didn't care that she insulted her younger sister, she was so mad that she would even dare to compare Volt to their parents. She didn't know, she had no idea what Voltage and Glacier had to deal with. He said that it was a good thing, in a way, and she turned and growled at him. "Its still not okay what she accused you of, without understanding. She claims to know all these things and be able to sympathize with everyone, but I call bullshit. That kid doesn't have enough life experience to even begin to understand!" Serefina snarled, her head tossing once more as she resumed her pacing. Maybe she should have held her tongue with the name calling, but it was Serefina after all. There was very little that she could ever hold back.
