It was difficult really, Rivaxorus realized he was being selfish. There wasn't much else to do, with his mom gone - sister missing and then his father planning on going into his death bed. While he was about it yes, but the point was that he was living. Where did it stand that their dad could leave them alone like that. As he paced back and forth in the cave, he sighed in a frustrated done before perking up his ears. He wanted to talk with his sister Holly. He knew she was probably taking it the hardest, next to his father. She tried so hard with her herbs and he didn't want her falling apart like he might have. His paws would carry him in search of her scent.
As he stopped at the entrance of one of the small dens. He let out a small yip - just in case she was sleeping or otherwise. "Holly.... are you awake?" he asked softly as he scooted down to his stomach. His family was important to him, but he wanted to make certain his decision was the right one he was making. Even if before he hadn't wanted to be an alpha - now he just wanted to be the leader of his family if it would be considered that. |
