His brother needed to walk, he was convinced himself of that much. Razor may have been weak, but he would get weaker if he didn't go around and exercise. Helping him swim across to the island was an easy task, since he had chosen such a cluster so his brother wouldn't get too sick. Of course they'd be missed at home but for now it was just the two of them. Having some time alone since their mother died was almost a gem. Rivaxorus led the male over to a tree to lean under, free of snow for the moment. It was warmer here then it was in the woods or anywhere else.

"You must be tired Knife, we can rest here now." Riv folded his paws underneath him. His bigger body was able to keep his gray brother warm. His gray tail pulling into his brother's black one which seemed to be much fluffier than his own. They were growing older by the day and he already towered over all of his siblings. It was his job to protect all of them.

Razor had been careful as he walked and swam with his brother. As always Rivaxorus wanted him to get out, which probably was for the best. He could get even sicker if he stayed in the den all day - however he knew what he was doing. At least he'd like to think he did, after his visit with aunty Amalia. Something he couldn't remember were those herb names and he hated it, not that he'd express his distrust to his own brother. It was painful enough, so all he did was make sure everyone had a smile on their faces. Breathing heavily he took a shiver before settling down beneath the tree.

Razor nodded his head before settling himself down. A lot of things were going through his head but he didn't feel like speaking them. Something he had been doing a lot of, he didn't like to talk. Rivaxorus wouldn't force him to talk if he refused to. The boy's crystal blue eyes looked at the sky. It was beautiful this winter day, while he wished his mother was here. He knew everything would be okay in at least that.

Knife had always been a quiet kid, not that his brother minded. Nicknaming him after his namesake itself, he rubbed his head up against the other's chin. While their size difference was a lot, it meant it would be easier to warm him up. Watching as Razor looking at the sky, he wondered if he was talking with the gods right now. If they were keeping mother safe or not. Riv himself had always hoped Denki would take good care of his mother, Itsume even. Making him sigh, he lowered his head onto the back of Knife's neck. Comfort lying between his breaths since he was next to another warm body.

"Anata wa daijōbu naifu ni narudarou(You'll be alright knife)" he spoke softly in their native tongue. Whatever Knife was thinking about - Rivaxorus wasn't going to press him to find out. He knew how much he wished to be silent, when he did speak it was soft little words. Indeed this place was fairly nice, he liked coming to it to clear his mind. If anything at all - he was glad he could share it with his brother. Since he was so weak, sometimes it was hard to take him places.

As his brother spoke, Razor closed his eyes gently. Letting out a shiver as he felt his body relax against the sound of his brother's voice. He would be alright - he wanted to believe that was true. So he let the native words sink into that head of his carefully. Razor wanted to share his thoughts and feelings with them, all of them, but he just couldn't. If it wasn't one thing it was another thing making him sick to his stomach. Most of all he wanted to hug his dad and tell him everything was going to be okay.

Razor nodded his head, nuzzling against Rivaxorus. He watched the snow on the ground, listening to the quiet and the sounds outside of their little bubble. With someone here to keep him warm - it was the sound of his own thoughts that he was fighting with. He didn't - no couldn't say anything right now. Resting was just enough for him, and thinking about what the days would throw at them. All they could do really was live.
