Solaris was between a rock and a hard place at the moment. He was having a hard time falling asleep, but being out of the dens at night stung so much. He laid every which way and all he could do was stare at the walls of the cave and be irritated at himself for not being able to sleep. With a frustrated sigh he would finally pull himself to his paws and trudge out of the den. He could have gone up to the cliff to see if Astrea was there, but being that close to the moon just felt like it would hurt more. Instead he made his way out into the outer edges of Donostrea's territory. He hoped maybe if he just got up and walked around enough he might wear himself out enough that he could fall asleep.

He padded along, seeing fairly easily by the moonlight that peeked through the clouds. This is why he hated the night now. The moonlight pooling around him just made his heart ache. He sighed and his shoulders sagged as he walked, his charcoal tipped ears flattening against his skull. He'd lift his sad gaze from the ground as a familiar scent caught his attention, his ears lifting a bit while he lazily looked around him. He hadn't seen Viridian since he had helped her to the stream and he had begun to think that maybe she had left. He looked around, trying to see if his orange gaze could seek her out.

Viridian was getting ready to leave Donostrea, she was healthy again and with the morning she could continue her search for her dear brother. She'd promised to come back, she couldn't leave her debt unpaid, but she needed to find Solor. The silvery she wolf was wrapped up where she had been most of her time here, the same place she'd last seen Solaris. She wasn't asleep yet, her head rested on her paws and her eyes darted across the sky as the stars came out and the moons light filtered over the prairie. She wished Solor was there to sit beside her, to make her feel better and warm her during the cold night. A long sight would filter from her lips, the moment when he'd find his way back to her was too long in coming.

He followed her scent to the spot where he had last seen her. He could already tell from first glances that she was much, much better than how he had left her before. He also noticed that she wasn't asleep so he padded toward her with a little hesitation. He didn't want to bother her if she was trying to sleep, but if her sigh was any indication he guessed that she was having as hard a time sleeping as he was. "Hey there," he'd greet her quietly, giving her a small smile. He'd stop a couple of feet away, adding, "You're looking better. Do you mind a bit of company?" He'd settle onto his haunches, still ready to leave if she said she was trying to sleep. He did hope she didn't mind though, he really didn't want to be alone if he didn't have to right now.

She wasn't sure why she hadn't fallen asleep yet, she must have really recovered fully by now. Before she could hardly keep her eyes open after any kind of exertion but now.. Solor weighed too heavily on her mind for the girl to think about resting right now. Had she missed him in her time recovering within Donostrea's borders? As a soft sigh left her maw the sound of paw steps would alert her to another presence, raising her head from her paws her bright eyes would seek out the brilliant form of Solaris. "Hey." She'd greet back with a soft smile paying on her features. He'd come and sit by her, getting comfortable and asking if she would mind some company. It seemed she was not the only one to have difficulties getting to dream land. "I'm much better, and I would. It's lonely out here." She didn't mean to sound quite so desperate as she answered him. "Can't sleep either?"
