Friends?

No, he didn't need friends. He needed his family. The antisocial boy had been avoiding much of Abaven since coming here. They were not Threar... and slightly distant relations or not all he wanted was his siblings. They were the only family besides Feli that he felt he needed. Not that Thalos wouldn't try to help them if it came down to it. He just didn't feel the need to interact with them otherwise he supposed.

Thalos would breathe out a soft sigh as he looked at the rapids. Carefully he began walking along the ledge of the water. He missed Farore... she wasn't doing so well. Felicien was busy trying to provide for the pack... so where did that leave him and Arkay? The boy wasn't entirely sure. But he knew one thing -- he wanted to spend some time with his brother. Tilting his head back, standing carefully upon the rocks next to the water, Thalos would call for his sibling.

The young boy had been practicing his hunting ever since he'd met with Tinaro. His pack mate had been kind enough to teach him a little bit, but he felt like he still had a really long time before he could actually catch something. He always scared off his prey somehow. Even the grasshoppers and butterflies seemed to evade him. It was frustrating. His long awkward legs wouldn't allow the near silence he needed and if he did manage to stay silent as he approached somehow his loud mouth would give him away, or he'd move wrong. He was awful at hunting so far.

He'd just be recovering from another failed hunt when he heard his brother seeking him out. Perking his spirits the curious boy would make his way towards the voice. About half way there he'd have a brilliant idea. He'd use Thally as his prey. He was gonna do it this time, he was going to get to the attacking part. Remembering what Tinaro had said the boy would try to head at his brother from down wind. He'd crouch down and use the rocks and trees and brush as cover sneaking up as close as he could before finally bursting from the bush, screaming like a banshee at his litter mate.

Thalos waited.

Things were quiet, for the most part. A noise here and there, but nothing that overly drew his attention. Small noises might typically alert prey, but for Thally they were mostly ignored. Maybe it was because the young man relied on his eyes more than his ears; a trait that would need to change as he grew older and more capable in his pack.

It was the moment he heard the so called banshee that the young man became aware of his brother’s presence. Thalos was startled, his eyes widening as he instantly shied away from the screaming... and right off the rock he was on.

Luckily for Thalos rather than sliding into the rapids he fell on the grassy bank, hitting his rear end hard upon the ground. Thalos would gasp, fur fluffing up as he tried to prepare for the “attack” of his brother.
