The man would move with purpose towards Abaven. Fiori had been the more logical choice but, not wanting to put the stress upon Amalia, he would decide to head to Abaven instead. Why he was helping the child of the enemy he'd never know. While it was true he didn't want to push the sins of the father onto the child he was still Sin's child. He should be the one doing something about this. But knowing the blood stained man he probably didn't have any allies to turn to. So that left Cypress to be the one to get help for the wayward boy, Sheerrun.

Arriving at Abaven's borders, keeping a respectful distance away, Cypress would howl to the heavens for Bass and or one of his more advanced healers. He hoped that this wouldn't take too terribly long, as he wanted to find help for Sheerrun as fast as possible, but he knew that Bass was likely to answer his call too. Cy would sit, nervousness building in his gut, as he waited. What on earth had he gotten himself into this time?

No one could really say where Starling had been, to be honest. He had been everywhere, doing what he did best. He walked, he moved in a very solitary way. There was nothing to hunt anymore, everything was dead in the winter, and he didn't return home enough to take his dried herbs with him. He had spent a great deal of time up in the north, hoping he'd run into Cathy here and there without seeming too.…clingy. He missed his family, sure. But there was something.…liberating about being out on his own. He didn't have to worry, didn't have to work hard to meet, what he believed, where their expectations. Didn't have to feel guilty of his talent or ashamed that it wasn't the right talent. He had missed his birthday and, sadly, he did regret that..

But something brought him back from his travels on this specific day. Just as his paws touched familiar territory he heard a call. Someone was calling.…for him? Well, that could only really mean one thing. He hummed to himself before changing course, coming up behind the caller rather than through the packlands. He didn't really know this man, he recognized him from Arian's challenge, but that was about it. Instead he just smiled softly and, with a quiet voice, he asked, "H-how c-can I help you?" He looked this man up and down, noting nothing seemed injured. He hoped it wasn't serious, an internal bleed? He couldn't remember if he had the herbs to handle that in this season. Maybe it was time to scout out the south.

In his mind, Cypress would question himself yet again. To think he was helping Sin’s child. He knew it wasn’t Sheerrun’s fault that Arian had died. She had been the one to call to Sin after all. Yet Cy knew he held a deep hatred in his heart for that man. He would never forget his bloodstained coat. His piercing golden gaze. There ran such a deep hatred in Cypress’ heart. He knew that he would carry that hate to the grave. Yet, whether his demise would be by Sin’s jaws or something different he knew not. He couldn’t help this feeling he had....

It wouldn’t take too terribly long for someone to show. The one to arrive was not Bass, but rather a younger brute, brown and white. Judging by the markings under his eyes, however, the young one was of Bass’ brood. His words were a gentle stutter... Cypress felt his heart give a pang at them. He had mixed feelings about this whole ordeal, but he was sure that getting the kid help was the right thing to do. The right path to take. He would take a breath, speaking in a clear voice.

“I certainly hope you can at least.” The silver and gray male would look the other over with his bicolored eyes. He didn’t seem like he was fighter... So hopefully he was one of the healers he’d called for. Cypress would tilt his head to the side, continuing on. “I’ve got a lad down south with what I believe to be a broken leg in need of help. A loner. Do you think you might be able to help us?”
