Spring had come - and with it, flooding. Fern Gulley was squishy, but there was thankfully little water in it. Most of the moisture came from underground and from rain; there was no active rivers or lakes... however. The now-yearling boy turned his attention to Borealis' neighbors. While they had no water to cause serious flooding - yet - he remembered Voltage mentioning a beach. Beach. Water. Ocean. All of which points to flooding,.

The boy loped to the outer edge of his territory, stopping on the shared boundary. His head was thrown back, a howl calling for Donostrea as a whole - specifically, Voltage, but he'd accept any who would come and give him information and let him know the situation. And, if needed, he would call his mother here.

Voltage Elementas Now that his family was settled, and everything seemed to be working out, he was free to answer calls. It was nice, despite the fact that he hadn't had any time to really go out and meet anyone all that lately. The fact that their new neighbors just so happened to be run by someone he already knew kind of well was just icing on the cake. So when he heard the gentle call of the little prince, he couldn't help but turn towards it. Although he did keep him waiting, as Voltage was rather...busy, he did peel himself away from his duties as quickly as possible to greet him. Stormy eyes shone with a gentle light as he looked down at the little prince as he approached. "Why, hello there little prince!" He said happily, a gentle smile on his face. "What brings you back to the border? Sadly now is not the best time for a tour." He said with a good natured chuckle, tilting his head slightly before he moved to sit down like he had before. He did like this kid, and talking to him seemed rather fun. "Burn Baby Burn"

He'd wait impatiently, almost twitching with worry. What iif something happened to Donostrea? They had the beach... what if their dens were ont he beach and someone drowned? What if it was Voltage? He'd start pacing at the border, fretting, when a familiar yellow form was glimpsed in the corner of his eye and he froze, head whipping around to spot Voltage. Relief flooded the young boy's body, and tension abruptly left. He was cheerful in his greeting, and Ren would give a wan smile in response. He'd snort at the words following Volt's greeting, a grin forming slightly as the man sat. That dropped quickly as Ren got down to business. "Are you alright? Is your family? Pups?" he fired off quickly. Volt had mentioned pups, last time, and he was more than worried.

Voltage Elementas Voltage would smile at the concern that colored Ren's face, and if Borealis had water on their packlands he would have worried all the same. So he motioned for the boy to sit with him before he would answer, his head tilting slightly. He hummed softly and looked over his shoulder at his packlands, pride in his eyes and happiness stretching his lips. It was all good. "Yeah..." He said softly, looking back at Ren. "Luckily I woke up in time to see the water before it reached the dens, and we managed to get everyone out  in the nick of time." His voice was soft, tender, as he looked to the ground. If he hadn't woken up, what would have happened? They barely had enough time to get the pups out as is. How many would they have lost? He hated to think of it, he didn't want to, so he looked to Ren again. "Everyone is just fine. How about your pack? Any damage?" He asked curiously. Surely he wasn't wrong in knowing there was no water in their land, but that didn't mean that the ocean didn't spread so far somehow. "Burn Baby Burn"
