At least for the moment his depression was at bay, even with Carlisle away from him and hunting. The timing had felt right. He was just glad to make it home, to become rejoin his family once more. Yet, even with his reunion, Vitus knew that there was something missing. ...Primarily two brothers as a a matter of fact. Only Tib still seemed to be in Fiori. Neither Bacc nor Archie had showed their faces when he called. But Vitus was sure that his brothers were still out there somewhere. Same as his sire. But the true question was where, now wasn’t it? Bacchus made his way back towards the volcanic mountain that he'd come across Absinthe within almost a month prior. He'd lost her again, but he was well aware that she was still alive. Still with his finding of the girl he had yet to return to Fiori again. He had his own little responsibilities now. The most important being the little she wolf who had become his travelling companion: his little good Luck charm. She was not at his side at the moment, he'd offered to go and hunt while she gathered up a few herbs. So far he had come out empty pawed and the noon sun was already beating down on him. The spring was not terribly hot, but he knew most prey wasn't going to be very active during the middle of the day anyway. As his elegant form moved through the trees he'd lose his focus a bit not realizing he'd been following a familiar scent trail. His head would tilt curiously as he came to a stop, bright ruby gaze landing on the familiar slate and silver form of Vitus. ""

Vitus would allow his gaze to linger across the land, slowly taking in each landmark he could identify. There was no harm in learning about the world around you, and, without having officially rejoined Fiori yet, he had more of that freedom to explore. Before he had left, however, he promised both Athena and Amalia that he would return within the month. He wanted to see if he couldn’t dig up Archie or Bacc somewhere out here in these untamed lands. The funny thing was that Vitus didn’t have to do any digging. His bi-colored gaze would stop once it landed upon the familiar form of one of his brothers. Silence pervaded the air around them. Bacchus had not called out to him, merely came to a halt the moment his eyes met with Vitus’ form. A similar reaction had been given by Vitus, though the slate male would offer his brother a small smile.
