A little play time

Leo hummed quietly to himself as he padded through Fiori's territory. It felt like he did the same things day in and day out. Get up, to a patrol, watch his children play, do a patrol, check on the rest of the pack, do a patrol, sleep. It was a fairly regular routine that didn't change too often. Occasionally he'd have visits from the border or a meeting or something to conduct, but for the most part this was his life. He honestly couldn't complain. His little family kept things interesting and he felt blessed to have such an amazing life.

As he got closer to the den his ears perked at a noise coming from some of the brush nearby and he stopped, his ears alert as he listened. His head turned toward where he thought the noise came from and he peered with squinted eyes in its direction. Was he imagining things now? A moment passed and then his son's scent caught his attention. He smiled a little and crept toward the bushes, looking to see if he could see Alfred's bright coat through the leaves. "Is that an Alfie I hear?" he called teasingly, a grin creeping onto his face.
