Before sunrise she's YOUR child

Ray was big enough and old enough now to learn to hunt. She knew the Prairie was suppose to be a rich pray land - she had heard the adults talking about it. She was pretty sure she would be taught her lesson there, and that was good news to the trouble maker. Learning to hunt meant learning to track and stalk right? She couldn't even imagine how much extra trouble she could get into if she learnt how to walk quietly properly through their prairie.
Her eagerness woke her up early in the morning and after that she was completely unable to sit still. She squirmed in her position, and since the four wolves of her family slept in close proximate on she liked desired every single one of them. Unable to control herself any more she turned over and grasped mumma's ear in her teeth and gently tugged. "Mummy. Are you awake?" She asked, none too quietly. She heard her father groan and twitch and grinned wide. She wanted everyone awake, had she succeed?

Anais typically considered herself an early riser, but compared to her daughter she was not entirely sure she even qualified as one anymore. Whether it was just the pup's natural rhythm or her excitement about beginning the day the very second her restfulness went away, Seraphiel lacked any sort of ability to enjoy a restful morning of lazing about and sleeping in. She was up and ready to go well before her family, and seemed to expect the rest of them to follow suit. In their shared den, it was hard not to be jostled by her early morning routine, and though she had gotten fairly good at sleeping through it there was only so much the new mother could ignore.
She was awake and feigning sleep when she felt Ray's little teeth latch onto her ear and tug, and she tried hard not to let on that she had felt and registered the sensation. Her daughter's considerate voice addressed her directly, and though she continued not to react Anais knew all hope of further rest was lost. The groan Glacier made was nearly her undoing as it was familiar to her and rather amusing if she was being honest, but she bit her lip to stop herself from laughing at his expense. They were both the adults, after all, and they needed to stick together.
Drawing in a deep breath and giving up all pretense of sleep, Anais rolled until she could face her daughter through a still drowsy, half-lidded stare. "I think we all are now," she answered, and after taking a second to yawn she asked, "What is it, sweetheart?"
