He was feeling much better since his meeting with his Uncle Leo. He was now apart of the pack and closer to two of his siblings. He felt like he had a new purpose now and was eager to start the new chapter in his book of life. He had a lot of catching up to do with his siblings, he felt like he had been gone far to long. Although first he needed to explore and find himself a place for a den. Maybe he could find someone to help him find a nice place or someone to help him build his den. He was optimistic about this new chapter and couldn't wait to see how it would turn out.

He moved along with ease checking out every tree and every bush. His mind swirled, unsure of what the best place would be. He knew he was safe here so that really didn't play a factor in it, but he didn't know what would feel more comfortable. Under a tree, under a rock, hidden in a bush? He wasn't sure.

She found herself wandering through the mangrove, as usual. As she observed the tangled roots that twisted their way through the territory, she took notice of the flora's beauty and the fact that this particular day was a good day. She didn't know why; it just felt like a good day, a special day, a day worth living. She never got those kind of notions, and determined to enjoy this great day, she began to skip with an unusual burst of confidence.

Humming a simple tune as she pranced, her emerald gaze took no notice of the surroundings ahead of her. Sometimes she looked around at the mangrove or up at the cloudless sky, but definitely not in front of her. That was until she bumped into a large ebony leg, sending her stumbling backwards. Glancing up with wide, startled eyes, she looked at the russet stranger as she crept back in fear. Her breath caught in her throat, tears pricked in the corner of her eyes. No, this was not a good day.

Jackson was calm and fairly happy with exploring. He was taking his time, taking in all that he could. He was enjoying it, though he did find it rather odd that no one else seemed to be around. For a while he felt like the world was still, even the birds seemed somewhat hushed, but soon a youthful hum his ears picked up. Lifting his head he listened to determine where the humming was coming from. Looking around he looked for the owner of the voice and soon the small form came into view.

Jackson's tail gently wagged, but it seemed as though she had not seen him. In fact she kept moving, not once paying any attention to him at all. Raising a brow the male watched her curiously as she approached. He had even watched as the young girl ran smack dab into him and instead of getting upset he remained neutral. Seeing her wide eyes that looked as though they were going to pop out of her little head. His gaze turned to that of concern at seeing her fear. Slowly he turned to face her before he lowered himself to the ground, laying on his belly and making himself be on her level so he would not seem as threatening.

"It's okay I won't hurt you. I'm Jackson Adravandi, what's your name?" he said quietly, his tail gently wagging.

"I'm talking"

Her eyes didn't grow any smaller as stared right back at the stranger. He didn't look mad, nor did he snap at her. He didn't chase after her or call her names. Huh. Maybe he was going to do that after he let it all sink it, studied her reaction and fed off of the fear evident on her frightened features. Quivering, she watched as the male, who kept a neutral expression, lowering himself closer to the ground to be eye-level with her. She didn't find that any more comforting at all. His face was huge with those scary eyes and teeth bound to swallow her in one gulp. She recoiled a few inches at the thought, though when he assured he wouldn't hurt her, she tentatively calmed. Only by a bit. She couldn't fully trust this man, and if danger struck, she had to be ready to run.

Amidst her embarrassment, a voice inside kicked her. Hard. I-I-I'm s-s-sorry, J-J-Jacks-son," she stammered, preparing herself to add his last name for a formal effect before she realised they both shared the same family name! Well, hers had Armada added onto it, but only her and Jayne had Adravendi-Armada. Though surely that meant they were still related, right? If she had known he was a family member, she wouldn't have foolishly bumped into him like the klutz she was. "D-Diana," she answered, a small faint smile creeping to her lips. "Adravendi-Armada."
