She traveled long and far, her life as a loner was growing tiresome. Sometimes she enjoyed the freedom, but sometimes she missed being in a pack too. There was that certain sense of belonging, of support during hard times. And with winter coming soon, things would get harder. She didn't know what she was looking for, but her feet led her to this place. The sweet scent of ripe and over ripe berries filled her nose, the stale smell of bears mingled with it. Silver gaze was wary, ears twitching for any sign of danger as she pressed forward to explore the area.

Paws stepped quietly across the ground, the woman seeking a nice strawberry bush to test it's delicacies. She had never had strawberries before, and the area seemed to boast a good array of different edible delights. Kasai stopped by a decent sized shrub, leaning down to take a bright red berry in her teeth. It was...sweet. Finding that she liked them, she began to dig in by the mouthful.

Her paws hurt. Her legs hurt. Everything hurt and she just wanted to stop walking. Why couldn't she just stop? It was like no matter how tired she got she couldn't get her feet to quit moving because if she stopped she'd have to just be, and think about things for once. Caelum wasn't ready to do that anytime soon, so she continued forward, determined to walk out her issues rather than think them over. Eventually she lifted her nose to the wind and caught the scent of... berries? That wasn't what caught her interest though. She trotted slowly down a slope towards the patch of wild fruit.

Her movements were still rather aimless, taking the occasional turn around a bush for no particular reason and continuing towards whatever it was that she had smelled. As she drew closer her pace slowed a bit and she caught a better whiff of the scent. Yet another stranger, no surprise there. She honestly wasn't sure she'd ever smell the scent of a familiar wolf again at this rate. Out of curiosity she padded on and looked out from behind a large shrub to find an interesting sight.

Caelum was puzzled as she stared at the crimson and white coated female, watching the woman devour berries with gusto. A look of bewilderment and distaste crossed over her face as she watched for a moment, uncertain what to make of this. She thought about trying to initiate conversation but didn't know what to say. Alone time had worn away at her social skills quite a bit.
