Colors of the Wind

The yearling was bored, very bored. Enigma had gone out to find more food, and with the coming of winter it would be needed. 'Scuro hung around the den most of the time, never really going too far on account of his blindness. Laying his head on his paws, he let the remnants of the sun warm him up before it got cold. It was then that he turned his gaze up, sight less eyes searching for where the sun lay hidden from him. He remembered the day he had asked his mother about it, why it hid from but let his brother see it. It was that day that his mother had discovered that he couldn't see. But even with that, she abandoned him after his father was killed. His other siblings were missing, but enigma had stayed for some reason. Sighing, he continued to search for the sun, the male wondering what it might look like. Maybe someday, if a miracle happened, he could see. But that was nothing but a dream. |

Armai had left Myriad for a short time. She could feel that Autumn was drawing to an end and with it came the colder weather that was going to eventually kill off the plants until Spring greeted them once more. She'd have to find as many herbs as she could and hang them to dry in her den. Today she'd managed to find a good bit that would be useful that didn't grow in the winter months. She'd already sent Nox back to the Weeping woods to go put them in her den so they could dry out on the slabs of stone setting in her den. She'd just follow the cat's scent later to find her way home. For now she was enjoying the warm summer rays that bounced against her silky pelt. She didn't get out often and the silence was somewhat enjoyable as she took the chance to be away for a while. It wasn't that she was bothered a lot in Myriad, that was hardly the case at all really, but pack life was different for her and it was nice to be away for a while. She hadn't gotten a chance to explore the southern lands too much so here was her opportunity. She had been completely sure she was alone up until now until a sigh that sounded really close by caught her attention. Her head raised and she stopped in her tracks as she flicked her ears back and forth trying to determine the location of whoever had just made the noise. "Who's there?" She called out hesitantly. She felt stupid asking, but it wasn't like she could see him and the wind was blowing upwind of her so she couldn't smell whoever it was. It was either that or she was going crazy and there was no one there at all. Walk, "Talk" Think "Nox" |
Armai has a female snow leopard companion that goes by the name of Nox. It can be assumed that she is always with Armai unless otherwise stated.
