Creed didn't really have any fond memories of this place. Many battles had been fought here and a lot of blood had been shed, that much was obvious, as he paced through the land in an attempt to find a place to spar. At their last meeting Surreal had chastised them for being lax in their training and he'd been a part of that wrong. He hadn't found a sparring partner yet and rather than fight a pack member he felt the need to fight someone more foreign to him. He was rusty, he knew that much, and probably had a lot of skills he needed to brush up on. As Celestial's secondary Alpha he knew he needed to be able to defend the pack well and the only way he was going to be able to do that was to practice his fighting. He wouldn't be a Right Wing for too much longer, but he wasn't old enough to be counted as an elder yet so he was intent on staying in tip top shape until he couldn't anymore.

The fluffy brute finally found rather flat and open spot with sparse grass and a whole lot of dusty dirt patches. There weren't any rocks to get in the way and it seemed like a well enough spot as any so he stopped where he stood and tipped his head back and let out a booming howl. It was loud enough to call anyone close by who was interested to him and hopefully he'd be worth someone's time. He was rusty but he'd surely do his best at it.

Birna stalked through the battlefield, ears alert but her head down. She had decided that she would remain a loner for the foreseeable future though she would keep the possibility of joining another pack open. However, she wasn’t sure anything could quite compare to Imperium. And how many packs had she been a part of? Three? Ludicael, Fiori, Imperium…? It was time to take a break. She needed to get used to being on her own again and part of that meant releasing her frustrations through battle. It felt like it had been so long since she sparred. It had been at least a full season, maybe two.

As she paused beneath an oak tree she heard a man calling for a challenger and her ears flicked forward. Excellent timing. Swiftly she answered the call, maneuvering through the grasses to an open, fairly flat space where a large man stood in wait. She dipped her head in greeting. “I accept your challenge. You may take the first move if you so desire.”
