Ever since her run in with Tib, she had been curious about Fiori. After several days back in her own pack lands, the young woman started off towards the coast. She had rubbed a bit of lavender on her coat, trying to mask the embarrassing scent of her heat. Finch had never been the romantic type, and she was afraid of what could happen to her while she wandered out of the safety of her pack. She had heard stories of wolves getting taken advantage of during their season, or had a lapse in judgement. Without her mother there to talk about things, Finch was rather lost on things like this. Her father tried, but it wasn't too much help. She couldn't help but let out a giggle at the thought, Bass tried his best, but he wasn't a mother. Her ears flickered, her bouncing pace making her leaf necklace shuffle on her chest. Civetta flew overhead, scouting out the lands before them. She let out a soft call and fluttered down to the top of Finch's head, letting her know that they were close.

Finch slowed as she grew near to the pack borders, respecting their markers and staying several feet away from them. She casually strolled across the other side, peeking in to see if she could spot the big blue male that she had met almost a week ago. It was a very interesting land, trees with long, twisting roots covered a boggy like ground. The roots were mostly exposed, making the perfect place for a den in the weaving of the roots. She was somewhat taken back by it, sitting as she further inspected one of the trees. There were no leaves on it now, but she could only imagine that they created a canopy when they were in bloom. Sitting on her rump, still outside of the pack markers, she poked her paws into the soft sand. No wonder why a pack settled here, it was really cool!

It had been a week or so since she met her new little friend and she still couldn't help but worry about her wing. She was settled on her stomach on one of the more dry pieces of land of the mangroves, her paws inches from the tree root that her cardinal companion was perched on. Her and Alfie had done their best to help her wing and she had gotten her father to check on it as well. Perhaps she should go find Amalia and have her check on it as well... A breeze brought a stranger's scent to her and she put her thoughts aside as she lifted her head to look toward the border, craning her neck to look past one of the trees. Her brows lifted with surprise when her pale blue gaze landed on the pale woman that was sitting near the edge of the mangroves.

It wasn't unusual for Fiori to get visitors from time to time, but usually they howled for Leo or someone like that. She seemed to be just sitting there, looking through the mangroves and examining them. She wasn't trespassing or anything like that, but she was just... sitting there. Maybe she was looking for someone? "I think I'll go see what she wants," she decided, voicing her decisions out loud now that she had someone else to share them with. She looked back to her red-beaked friend, asking, "Want to go with me, Abby?" she asked with a little smile. The two of them had spent their whole first night together figuring out a name for her and they had finally settled on Abby. She thought it was a pretty cute name for a cute little bird.

Abby hopped over to Roza's neck when she lowered her head to rest it on the branch that Abby was perched on. It still felt strange to have her small talons hanging on to her neck like that, but she was getting used to it. She stood up and padded toward the border, her tail wagging slowly behind her as she went over to where the ivory woman was sitting. "Hey there!" she called, her voice as cheerful as ever. "Were you looking for someone? I could-" suddenly she stopped when she spotted the bird resting on her in a similar way that Abby was on herself and she gasped excitedly. Another wolf with a bird! "Oh my gosh! You have a bird friend too!" A huge grin spread over her muzzle and her tail wagged twice as fast, to which Abby trilled in protest and dug her talons in deeper to keep from falling off. Roza flinched a little and glanced up, mumbling, "Sorry."
