There was one wolf on her mind since she had finally adjusted herself to her alpha position. She hated knowing some of her pack-mates, and almost neglecting the other few. That wasn't what leadership was all about. She was here to meet them, talk to them, establish a friendly bond, and work with them to achieve a better, strong Myriad - a common goal she hoped all of her pack-mates shared. There were a couple she hadn't yet personally met, one of them being the pack's only healer, Armai. Somehow, the young queen was dying to meet her. Why, she didn't know. Perhaps it was because of the female's interest in healing, and how she was, in a way, one of the most important canines in the pack.

Finding a suitable clearing in the forest, the alphess tipped her head back and let out a short, melodious howl, calling for the healer. Sitting on her haunches, she awaited the older female's arrival, scarlet eyes scanning the trees in case she caught a glimpse of the ashen woman making her way over.

She finally seemed to be learning her way around the territory. She'd spent an ungodly amount of time just pacing around the place, sometimes with Nox and sometimes with out her, but finally all the walking had paid off. She felt comfortable enough that she wasn't going to walk into some random tree. So unless something fell over or an earth quake happened she was sure she was pretty good to go.

Lately she'd found herself with a lack of things to occupy her time with. She kept telling herself she could probably try doing something productive like meeting pack members or training in a skill she lacked, but uncertainty hindered her motivation. Fighting was a rather sore subject for her since she didn't want to seem like an idiot sparring one of her pack mates. She'd surely suck at it. So she'd mainly kept near her den spending her time with Nox until someone needed her.

She was surprised when Zephyra's voice rang out summoning for her. A brow would raise as she contemplated why the Tsubasa would be calling for her. Was she sick? She exited her den swiftly heading towards the younger wolf. Nox was at home this time, content to not have to show Armai around anymore. She soon could smell Zephyra and she slowed down coming to a halt not too far from the other female. She sniffed the air to see if she could smell any blood or any sign of injury or illness but she couldn't pick anything up.

"You needed me?" She'd ask politely with a soft tilt of her head before she took a seat.

Walk, "Talk" Think "Nox"

Armai has a female snow leopard companion that goes by the name of Nox. It can be assumed that she is always with Armai unless otherwise stated.

Everybody wants
what they just can't hold
As the queen awaited the smaller woman's arrival, her mind continuously went back and forth through mental blanks. Who was she calling for again? What was she to say? Was it even important? She had to keep reminding herself of those things. Perhaps it was the stress messing with her head. Stressed? No, she couldn't be stressed. How stressful could talking with a fellow pack member be? Oh, maybe it was. She imagined the rest of the pack to have high expectations of their leaders, and they should, no doubt about that. The constant fear of slipping up somewhere between the lines or showing uncertainty loomed close behind her.

When she caught a glimpse of the ashen female snaking her way through the trees, all her mental preparation just went poof. No matter, she could improvise. Just smile. And nod. Act like you have all this planned out. She didn't have to launch straight into the subject of healing - that would come eventually. Asking some general questions could buy her some time to figure out her next inquiries. "Yes, but we can discuss that after," she assured with a small smile. "How are you, Armai? Settling in alright?"
