It was time. The early morning waking was unexpected, however the mother-to-be had been preparing the weeks before hand. Collecting the poppy seeds, moss and other herbs that were needed for this event. A first time it was for the serpent, but not the first time she had been a part of a birthing before. Grunting a tad, as she shifted; the pains were already starting. Luckily during this time; she had spent those extra hours teaching Liar what he needed to know and most importantly do if things went wrong. However Abelinda suspected that others may show up, knowing this would be the first little to this pack. An odd occurrence, perhaps timed right then again maybe not. Giving the birth in the middle of winter, meant sticking to the den for the first few weeks or so. Until they were old enough to withstand the cold just long enough, but for now her attention was on the pain racking her body. Firmly believing that a healer should be present. As he stepped within the boundaries of the den. He wouldn't be absent for the birth of his sons and daughters. Crap. He cursed in his head. Where had he put that damn herb, or at least those thoughts were dropped when he heard the call. It seemed it was Abelinda's time to birth, and it got his heart racing. Grabbing some cobweb, honey, and cotton filled with water in his teeth he pulled himself towards the call. Pushing the herbs off to the side as he approached the two. Dipping his head towards Liar before turning to Abelinda. This was his first time aiding in a birth, but he was confident. “Are you ready Abelinda?” he asked for a moment. He grabbed some cotton and pushed them towards Liar. He would be giving those to her through the process to keep her hydrated. “Just keep calm and things should go as plan. OOC: Wasn't sure how many post were needed for points. As expected, Liar was the first to arrive. Though, she hadn't announced the pregnancy any, it was no doubt had been obvious or partly in the meeting that had been held not so long ago. Feel his nose pressed to her cheek, did the slate-blue women press her own nose into the side of his neck softly. “Try not to worry to much.” Having seen more then her fair share of frantic males, which was no surprise. But it didn't take long for her nephew to show up, earning a smile from the women in his frantic rush to check his herbs and untangle them. “Calm your self, nephew; I know to be calm.” Knowing he likely was new to this, then again maybe not. It wasn't a thought she lingered on as a sharp pain etched a growl from her. And so, the pushing began. Rather then the largest be first, it seemed the smallest wanted out first. The first pup, a light and dark slate-blue hue was the first to make itself known to the world. Abelinda did what was mother should; bring them close and clean them; before tucking them against the belly. The first was out, four more to go; a break wasn't given as the women was forced to work on a second pup that wanted to greet the world.

The male would patiently and calmly look between the two. Liar didn't really care about worrying over her. After all, he had seen many births. Bore many sons and daughters - this was not new territory for the male. As such he would stay off to the side, sitting down and making himself comfortable. Perhaps the first thing they saw would be their father. Regardless or not he was a man of very strict morals when it came to his pups. They would live, learn, and thrive on what seemed to be a mix of pure lines. His green eyes civily looked forward to the children coming to this world. "Talk"
