Currently Maria was scouting Southern Boreas, the area where she and Shadow had settled for the winter. Though she was uncertain of being here in another continent she was also excited. Excited to learn of the herbs in this land and, furthermore, learn more about the wolves that inhabited it. The current territory she had discovered seemed as though it might be a goldmine of herbs during the spring! Maria was sniffing about, searching for what she might be able to discover here, if anything, even during the coldest months. Sure the chance was slim, but Maria wanted to remember this place for when spring finally came!
Her dark blue orbs scanned the area, taking in the bits of green that were still present in this milder winter. She was a beginner healer, knowing only some basics to help cuts and ease pain. But Maria was hoping to learn more. Maybe, she thought with a bit more excitement, she might find a healer in this continent. Shadow had said it was called Boreas... Something she figured he must have learned from another loner in passing. Now that she had gotten over the fear of leaving the ancient oaks curiosity and wanderlust had taken hold of Maria. It was only a matter of time before she ran into someone new.

The herbs here were amazing, and Starling couldn't help but be in awe of the quantity and variety that were around him. He was so scared of crushing some sort of rare herb; already he had trampled some common herbs with his own clumsiness. This was an absolutely wonderful detour to take; oh, how the lands of Boreas bloomed! It was so lovely, the scents and the sights. He dove in on a familiar stalk of purple, grinning at the lavender now right in front of his eyes. Perfect! He should definitely grab some it was so useful, especially for sleeping, and depression. His tail started wagging, and his head twisted as he tried to gingerly grasp the stalk in his jaws, gnawing on the stem. After a few moments, he sat up triumphantly, with the lavender in mouth... and to also stare at an unfamiliar woman. "Oh!" His exclamation was muffled by the herbs, and his eyes were wide and round. "Uhh..." What was he supposed to say? Do? He wasn't prepared for company. "Burn Baby Burn" || "Bruciare Bambino Bruciare" |
