Liar had to take his kids out of the den, they couldn't stay cooped up in there forever. Let alone let them go soft in the soft absence of their mother. The male was rather upset over the lack of energy, however he had better things to think about. "What do you say we all go for a walk." the male said softly to his children. Before turning himself to walk a little away from the den. Taking care of so many kids was not something he was new to.

"Be sure to ask plenty of questions." he already knew their heads were ready to be molded. Strong young minds that needed to grow, be kids, but realize eventually it was time to grow up. The exotic male looked across the spring snow - what a wonderfully boring day.

Abelinda hadn't been around much, which was kind of weird. The pup wondered if this was just how it was; their mother had birthed them, nursed them and now she did her own thing. That was okay, Liar was always here, and now he was getting them to all go for a walk! Ramsay charged out of the den, wanting to be first to follow their father out for a walk. Finally, they were going to start learning things! It felt like they'd been stuck in the den forever! The pup stumbled over his short, clumsy legs and went head over tail with a frustrated growl. One day he'd be bigger, he'd be coordinated and not so clumsy.

As he caught up with his father, he looked over his shoulder, waiting to see which of his siblings would be next to follow behind. He'd be sure to give them a smug look for lagging behind. Then he turned to Liar as the large male as he told them to ask lots of questions. Well he had one! "When do we get to eat meat?" he blurted out, his little blonde tail wagging, "I wanna taste the blood I've heard about, 'cause I'll grow bigger even faster if I eat lots of it! Right?"

The princess would raise her head as her brother shot out of the den. His energy was amazing to her - but regardless the lady rose herself to follow him. Smirking a bit at his expression as she came up from behind him. He was so funny sometimes this Ramsay, her brother surely was a hyper pup of the group as she came to sit beside Ramsay. Looking at her father as her brother asked him questions. She then bumped him. "Dummy we already are eating meat. That weird red stuff dad brings back is meat! I hear if you eat too much blood you get sick." she told him giving a soft scoff as she looked to her father.

"When do we get to go out with the other wolves? When they hunt, I wanna hunt with everyone." her tail flicked at the end. Eager and wanting, she wanted the thrill. The thrill of taking something down, she had seen herself catching butterflies but they were meager little things. The princess smiled at him as she looked to Ramsay.

He was so focused on Liar, he had hardly noticed Ash arriving at his side. Until she bumped into him, and called him a "dummy". Offended, he faced her with his ears perked, his small tail stuck straight in the air as a pitiful puppy growl rumbled in his throat. "Who are you calling dumb?! You do not get sick from eating meat and blood!" he retorted, stomping one of his overly large forepaws before looking to their dad, "You just always get bigger the more you eat! Right dad? Tell her she's being stupid! He couldn't help but to get a little competitive, he hated being called dumb! He'd show her if she said it again.

He looked to his sister again. Why did she look like him? It was like she was his twin or something, but sometimes she really annoyed him. Did she have to get on his nerves? "I want to hunt, too!" he blurted out after she asked her question, "But I don't need to hunt with the other wolves. I'll learn to do it all by myself." Olive green eyes would give Ash a side glance, wondering what other clever things she was going to say.

This was stupid. They were stupid. Everyone was stupid. He was grumpy, most definitely. He had been enjoying a good nap, an even better dream, that is...until everyone started tumbling over him in their mad dash to get outside. Grumpy and ill tempered, Greed ruffled his fur and followed stiffly behind, ears perking slightly at what Ramsay and Ash were saying. They were already eating meat! And how the Hell would they get sick eating too much blood? They were predators! Their food had blood in it already! He was sure that if every wolf got sick eating meat, then they'd be...what do they call it? Whatever the plant eating animals were! Icy blue gaze rolled as he sneered, sharply shoving past Ash as he flicked his little puppy tail in her face. "He's right, you idiot! If predators got sick from eating meat, then we'd be like the prey eating plants!" He then turned around to face both his brother and sister, a smug look on his face. "And how are you gonna catch anything by yourself? You can't even catch your own tail!" He scoffed, a snicker falling from inky lips.

It had been some time since he could last remember the smell of mother, and even though he was growing at a rapid rate, perhaps he could have been dubbed the most dependent on their milk provider out of all. That's not to say he wasn't enjoying the meals father brought back at all, either.. just, he seemed quiet and less energized since her disappearance, as well.

He remained curled to the wall of the den as he watched Liar breach the entrance and announce their chosen journey, there was a twist in the pit of his stomach that nearly prevented him from finding the courage to join- in fact, he remained there in the den for some time after they'd all left after him.. but, that cold feeling of loneliness quickly replaced his family's presence, and before long he was racing after them on his disproportionate little paws. For now, he stuck to the back of the pack line.. watching them interact, watching his siblings call each other dumb as they tried to figure out what was fact and who was right. Well, his chubby little gut spoke volumes on that. It jiggled as he tried to keep up, swaying with his gait.. if anyone was to get sick from eating too much blood or too much meat, it would've been Vadim.

"Do you think plants have flavor?" The child would grin as he looked to Greed, taking his declaration more like a suggestion. He licked his lips and before he waited for an answer, he was lowering his head and pulling out weeds from the ground of the forest with his teeth, determined to find out.

Liar was not amused by his children's bickering. Though they would remain children for the time he supposed. It was until Vadim appeared as he made a comment about plants - well their first lesson he supposed. "Don't ever assume one or another is wrong." his monotoned voice hit the air as he looked at the little ones. "Ash is right, but so is greed - Ramsay you are far too small at the moment to take down game. In this world time will be your ally. Timing is what makes you a king." He pushed into Greed's cheek for a moment. They were all young and healthy aside for the last pup still in the den. With slight sadness over the fact that their mother had abandoned them. He would be sure to make them know that abandonment - was the worst kind of action.

"Having too much of anything is bad for you, meat will make you strong but blood itself can make your own boil. As for plants greed, they can save your life. Many plants will heal your wounds and when you are sick will put you back up to speed." His lime green eyes scanned over towards Vadim. The most quiet it seemed, but no matter. "Most of the medicines we take are bitter, but always give a healer their due Vadim." he said before he shuffled slightly. "If you all are so interesting in hunting, why not watch your father?" a soft chuckle left his lips.

Ramsay laughed as Greed stalked out behind he and Ash, grumping about their conversation immediately. He puffed out his chest and grinned smugly at Ash as their brother agreed with him on not getting sick from meat. But when Greed turned back to face him, he pursed his lips, deflating slightly. So Greed didn't fully agree with him after all. "You can't even catch your own tail!" his brother taunted him. He didn't have time retaliate - although he didn't know if he was going to mess with Greed anyways - before Vadim appeared behind them all. Did they think plants had flavor? Ramsay scowled, sticking out his tongue in disgust.

At last their father spoke up to set them all straight. He didn't seem too impressed with them, which disappointed Ramsay. But as he corrected them each, he could see why Liar was disgruntled with them. He was so much smarter, so the pup listened with interest. His ears folded back as Liar told him he was too small to take down game. Did you have to say that in front of everyone one else? his thoughts were mopey, but he didn't say them out loud. He'd try to ignore the gnawing feeling of embarrassment, instead focusing on what their father had to tell them about plants. Interesting, he had never known they served any purpose, except to feed the prey animals.

Yep, their dad was smart. And now he was asking them to watch him hunt. "Yea!" he yipped, puppy claws digging into the ground as his forepaws bounced up and down excitedly. He wanted to learn everything he could from Liar, so that when he was big like his dad, no one could tell him he couldn't do something.
